IT’S A REALLY GREAT EXPERIENCE! First off, it’s halal. The staff are incredibly kind and respectful, and the customer service is top-notch. The place is cozy, and the music is great. I ordered a salmon benny, but it was smoked, not cooked. I didn’t realize it when I ordered, and they replaced it for me without any issue. Big thumbs up for them.
Loved our experience for a Sunday brunch at Bay 34th St Diner! The customer service was excellent, so friendly and kind. I had never had beef bacon before, and it was so savory and cooked perfectly. The chai latte is TO DIE FOR and the biscuit for the biscuits and gravy were perfectly soft. Highly recommend!
Absolutely amazing Philly cheesesteak. The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned, the cheese was melted just right, and the bread was fresh and toasted without being too hard. Every bite was packed with flavor and didn’t feel greasy or heavy. Easily one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve had—would 100% order again.
Overall food is good. Cafe is not the best. Ordered dirty chai latte and I didnot like it. For breakfast ordered crossaint with eggs (In picture) and Philly Cheese Steak ( Not breakfast item but that is the only thing appetizing to my friend). For vegetarians there is Avocado tost but nothing else. Value for food is okay, most places charge the same.
Confused by the high score. Saddened I got out of bed that early and drove so for this "average at best" place. The score drew me in. My companion and I left thinking how do they have a 4.6? How sway? Another reviewer who also was left disappointed after eating here said maybe they've undergone new management and the score isn't yet reflecting how their quality has down down. That's gotta be it or we just ordered all the wrong food. Bacon, eggs, pancakes, salmon Benny all just very basic average (shrugs)... the street potatoes were not what I was expecting at all! They told me it was cheese peppers and onions but I thought this would be like skillet fried potatoe stir fry sort of thing but no it's sort of a close cousin to scalloped potatoes. It's like cheesy saucy potatoes served in a ramekin. They weren't bad, I'd say it was the stand out dish for me compared to the rest, my companion didn't like em at all though. Oh well. Won't be back but I say you should definitely check this place out. Everyone's taste buds are different. Mine weren't impressed.
