Fantastic garden centre, I visit several times a week. Pet Place is a great indoor cafe space and pet shop if you want to bring your dog. The plants are more competitively priced than most people realise. I love the food shop and the butchers there and the kitchen makeover studio there even did my kitchen remodel. It’s more like a mini village at Bents rather than a garden centre!
Tonight we visited the Alice in Wonderland light trail and we were so impressed! The staff were as usual brilliant. The lady at the start offered to take our family picture which was so kind. The trail is brilliant! The detail and creative talent that has gone into it is fabulous. The music and interaction on the way round was awesome and loved by my 7 year old and 4 year old. The marshmallow station was great half way round. We finished off the evening with tea in the winter markets which was accompanied by live music! Then a little shop in Bents itself. A really lovely festive evening, thank you Bents xxx
Very festive this time of year, lots of decorations to see and lots of beautiful and brilliant sets/displays and some where you can get some great pics of the kids, yes even the big ones! The food markets was great too, very clean with lots of choice. It did get very busy but we'll worth it :)
We went to see there Christmas decorations , along with there festive food market and their new light trail . The festive displays are excellent as usual along with there food hall . We ate twice at their seasonal food market with music and seating area . The 1st time was in the afternoon for a cappuccino and a customisable crumble ( I had the cherry bakewell base and custard ) . The portions were very generous , so not bad value for this type of event . The 2nd time we ate there was after visiting their light trail , with last orders at 8.30 pm . We both had a filled giant Yorkshire pudding with turkey and trimmings including roast parsnip and potatoes . The light trail was fantastic , and gives access to the area behind the lake and adventure golf course . The trail was themed to Alice and wonderland , with a mixture of lights , sculptures, picture boards , Chinese lanterns and audio . The trail is about a mile in length , with wide flat walkways , with the obligatory marshmallow toasting section , good fun , runs untill early January .
Absolutely amazing! What a great evening out! Firstly we dined in one of the Christmas Food Market Domes, which was so cozy. The food was delicious & really good value for money. The staff were fab, friendly yet professional. After eating we wandered around the Alice in The Hidden Garden light trails. WOW! This was perfect, so many lights even between the main installations. The staff there were fab especially the white rabbit! I would highly recommend even if you don't have children (or a love of Christmas?????) great price, lots of parking, fab staff 10/10*!
