I love this place. I like to get the half duck or roast pork rice plate. Always a Hong Kong milk tea. They are always kind too. It’s my little slice of community.
Quite authentic Hong Kong-style BBQ, not the best in its class but they won the price war. Their breakfast deal is unbeatable in the entire bay area at
Good place to stop by if you are in the area. They have breakfast deal which mostly the one on breakfast menu is less than 10 dlr and it comes with free milk tea and the porridge come with free chinese donut. When we arrived , the restaurantbis pretty full but we get seated right away. They have breakfast menu from8 to 11 am. They also have bbq stuff which looks yummy like chicken, pork and duck. They also have lamb dishes. We ordered porridge, braised beef noodle soup, bbq pork rice roll and chinese donut rice roll. The noodle and porridge are about $8 which hard to find the price anywhere else. The portion is also generous. The noddle is also yummy. The rice roll is unique as it is thicker than regular rice roll at other places. There is min of $25 if you want to pay with card. Overall is is good meal
(updated) Just came back to have their rice clay pots. Asked for it to be extra crispy. This time I was really disappointed. Not only was it not crispy, the amount of rice was way less. It wasn't busy either. Not sure if it was an off day. Hopefully, their quality improves on my next visit. (2yrs ago)This place is a local hole in the wall. It's a very casual, no nonsense place to get fried chicken wings, roasted pork, duck or steamed chicken. Or u can get their famous clay pots. I love the crunchy rice on the bottom so I call them in advance to give them time to cook it. It's so yummy that the rice on top is so soft, but the rice on bottom is crunchy... Next time u r in Chinatown, try their "bo jai fan" or rice clay pots...
