What a wonderful local vineyard for a weekend treat. The staff is very attentive and helpful. They also have some snacks while you sip on your wine. Check it out with your friends next time you have a free Saturday Sunday.
We celebrated our office anniversary at Big Dog Vineyard and had an amazing time! Beautiful setting, great wine, and incredibly friendly staff. Everything was well organized and made our event feel special. Highly recommend for celebrations or group outings!

We had the pleasure of hosting our event at Big Dog Vineyards on Thursday, December 4, 2025, and it was nothing short of incredible! The views are breathtaking—truly the perfect backdrop for a memorable gathering. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The wine was outstanding! Each glass was unique and full of flavor, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how much they enjoyed it. The attention to detail and hospitality made the entire experience feel special and stress-free. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with exceptional service and amazing wines, Big Dog Vineyards is the place to go. We can’t wait to come back!
We’ve been members of this winery for about 3 years now and have always loved the ambiance, the location, and the wines here. Over time, we’ve introduced many of our friends to this place because it used to feel so warm and welcoming. In the past, the staff was always incredibly friendly, greeting us with a smile, stopping for a quick chat, and making us feel like part of the winery family. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been our experience for quite some time. There is one staff member in particular who makes us feel unwelcome. She isn’t helpful, and instead of creating that inviting atmosphere we once knew, we often find ourselves having to ask for even the most basic things (like a wine cooler). On our most recent visit on Friday, we invited friends to celebrate a birthday. I had reserved a table for 8, but when we arrived, the table wasn’t prepared for a larger group, and we ended up arranging the space ourselves. This same staff member also made a passive-aggressive comment about the birthday cake we brought, which made us and our guests, who were visiting for the very first time feel uncomfortable. Even they noticed her attitude and were surprised by how unwelcoming she was. To be fair, the rest of the staff continues to be amazing, and we were especially happy to meet a new team member who was very kind and attentive. It makes such a difference. We truly hope the warm, friendly atmosphere that made us fall in love with this winery can return, because it’s what sets this place apart.
This winery proved to be an exceptional find, offering a remarkable selection of wines, a delectable charcuterie board, and outstanding service. We regrettably missed the live music performance. We anticipate visiting again on our next trip.
