Bloc15 in Oakland, California, is one of the most vibrant and well-designed event venues I’ve ever experienced. The atmosphere hits you the moment you step inside, industrial yet polished, with sleek lighting and a layout that perfectly balances open energy and intimate vibes. The sound system is clean and powerful, ideal for battles, performances, and parties alike. Every corner feels like it was built for creatives to shine. I had the honor of competing and winning the “Double or Nothing” popping battle there in 2025, and the energy that night was unreal. The crowd was hyped, the dancers came with heavy styles, and the judges held everyone to a high standard exactly the kind of environment that makes you push past your limits. Bloc15 gave the event a professional yet underground feel, with smooth transitions between showcases, battles, and staged cyphers. Beyond the dance floor, the venue’s staff were welcoming and on point, making sure everything ran smoothly. Whether it’s a dance event, concert, or private function, Bloc15 delivers the perfect mix of culture, class, and creativity. Oakland’s dance scene felt alive in that space and I’ll never forget the night I took home my first Oakland win🏆
Bloc 15 Event Venue was the location for the Fans' Fan Fest last Saturday (2/24/2024). What John Fisher and Dave Kaval would not do, two grassroot organizations organized and planned this event for the fans of baseball. The fans came out and supported this event. Baseball is not gone from Oakland. It is alive and well in Oakland. Bloc 15 was rocking with numerous sponsors and vendors. Even several former Oakland A's players spoke to us fans. My brother and I had a blast. The event was bomb-diggity great. Thanks to Oakland 68's and the Last Dive Bar for their dedication and diligence for putting all this together for all to enjoy. My daughter is part of the Oakland 68's and she was there to help at the fan fest. Right on! The weather was perfect, and even my school (Oakland Tech) was reppin' at this event. I made a donation to Tech's soccer team and came away with a purple and gold jersey. Say it loud, I'm from Tech and I'm proud.
Enjoyed seeing Fab Four, Beatles Tribute Band. What a great way to kick off the 2023 holiday season.

I went there for an art festival and I thought it was a really nice, modern, and big venue. Everything looked great. The bathrooms were super clean (as everything).
