They did such a great job, and the price are fair! They also have a good waxer and offer mimosas to sip while you get pampered. They definitely have a return customer in me! Go see Amy!!
I usually have my normal nail gal but she was out of town so they had me work with nail tech Julie. She seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing. She was rushing through my nail appt and wasn’t taking her time. She missed a lot of spots with my dip nails and I had to ask her to fill in the areas she missed. Which she did, but when she’s having to backtrack after already laying the nail down, you can tell and it looks off. Also she was doing the coats of dip not how my normal gal does them. Another lady kept coming by to look over Julie and was telling her what to do. My nails are know cracking, the top layer is peeling off and some of my nails are over filled and run off my nail bed on the sides. Very unprofessional. When Julie asked how I like my nails I told her I felt like she rushed the entire time and the other nail techs started laughing. 3 of my nails the top polish has chopped off, one nail has completely chipped off the side. Keep in mind it’s only been a week that I got my nails done. Very disappointing. I don’t think I’ll be back. They knew she was messing up and they allowed it.
Impeccable Place – Professional Service! 🏆❤️ I had an amazing experience here! 💅 Hailey did my JLX full set in a gorgeous pink gold chrome, and Rose gave me a sparkly red pedicure that looks fabulous. Both ladies are truly professional, friendly, and detail-oriented. The salon is impeccably clean and relaxing — you can tell they take pride in everything they do. I’ll be uploading pictures soon so everyone can see their beautiful work! If you’re in Sacramento, come and support Hailey and Rose — they’re amazing at what they do, and you won’t be disappointed!
My experience at Blooming Nails Lounge was disappointing, despite high hopes and positive reviews. I called ahead and was told they could take two people at 6:15 PM for two pedicures and one GelX manicure. The pedicure was the highlight. Rose did both mine and my partner’s “Resting Pedicures” for $45 and was kind, patient, and meticulous. She even offered drinks and snacks. My partner had to wait until I was done, but Rose worked efficiently. I got gel polish, and while I was initially concerned it might be rushed, it turned out fine. However, the color was lighter than shown in the sample book. I also noticed afterward that the website lists Gel Color at $12, but I was charged $15 (totaling $60 for my pedicure), which feels a bit misleading. The GelX manicure, unfortunately, did not go well. Hailey seemed rushed and careless. When filing my nails, she was so aggressive that I had to ask her to stop because she was getting too close to the skin. I now have a small cut on my left ring finger. It’s not deep, but it’s sore and uncomfortable. I requested medium length, but the nails were cut much shorter than I wanted. When I brought it up, she said, “You said yes while I was cutting,” and added, “Everyone gets that shape and length.” Her response felt dismissive. I was also unsure about the design and asked for just two fingers to be done. I admit I was indecisive, and Hailey did try two different options without charging extra, which I appreciated. But neither design looked like what I had imagined, and the vibe quickly became tense. It was uncomfortable to speak up. On top of that, the underside of several nails has leftover GelX product. It looks and feels sloppy. I paid $50 for the GelX manicure. I really wanted to love this place, especially ahead of my Europe trip, but the experience didn’t live up to expectations. I doubt I’ll return.
Get your nails done by Hailey! This salon is so clean and is under new management. Hailey did such a wonderful job with my nails, took her time to really clean them up and made sure there was no residual gel on my skin before putting it in the lamp. They’re having their grand opening on May 3rd so please stop by and support! They’re so lovely and nice. They gave free snacks and water as well. Can’t wait to come back every month to get gel x and fills (:
