I'm newer to underwater photography and Mark helped me figure out what gear I needed for both photography and videography. He took the time to talk with me over the phone and followed up via email, answering my questions thoroughly and thoughtfully. Mark is knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. I really appreciated his guidance and would absolutely recommend him.
Henry, helped me place my order. I procrastinated placing the order my dive trip was 15 days out and I am in the Midwest. I was concerned about the arrival. Henry was on top of it. Not everyone follows up as much as he did. Every step of the way he notified me even after arrival Henry wrote to make sure everything was good to go. I appreciate the personal touch and am very pleased that he works for Bluewater Photo. I will be sure to recommend them to other dive buddies if they are interested.
Mark from Blue Water Photo has been immensely helpful in my journey to move from my old Nikonos system into a more modern platform. While I did my research for what is a major investment, his perspective definitely added much more for me to think about and consider. He was very willing to run down a number of alternatives, and proved highly knowledgeable about each one. He was always conscious of my goals, and very much more conscious of my budget than another well-known underwater photo store turned out to be. I am very excited to try out my new gear and renew my passion for underwater photography!
I've mostly dealt with Mark Strickland. Amazing service, amazing store. i would highly recommend anyone who is in the market to get underwater gear to get in touch with him. i bought a few thing along the years from them. from flashes, video lights, etc. His advice, professionalism are top notch. and if ever you have any issues with any gear you bought from them, they will assist you in the best possible ways. When I wanted to put my first underwater camera system together, I didn't have a clue of what I needed. I had done some reading on the subject but not much, I called Bluewater Photo, and an associate named Mark Strickland answered that day. I told him what I was thinking and what I have been seeing on their website, he took his time explaining every aspect of all the equipment involved and made the whole process very easy to understand. We must have spent two hours on the phone talking about the camera system, he was always very patient and never made me feel rushed, that was back in 2014 and since then I had purchased another camera housing and equipment from him which reflects the photos I have added to this review, now its 2024 and I recently purchased a whole new mirrorless camera system housing and associated equipment and once again Mark was there to take me through the steps of a Mirrorless system with the same patience and good humor as if it was 2014 all over again. If you need help putting a system together or need questions answered give Mark Strickland a call at Bluewater Photo, he won't steer you wrong. I appreciate all the help you've given me Mark.
