Terrible experience. I ordered the fitting and balancing of 5 tyres, provided by myself, and a wheel alignment. When I picked up the car only 4 tyres had been changed, and I was initially charged for 5 tyres. The wheel alignment had been performed but after driving the car it now veers to the right. When I returned to the shop to let them know I was told “Well I don’t know what else you want me to do.” Stating that the job was done “close enough”. When I pay for a wheel alignment I expect the wheels to be straight and the car to drive straight. The worst part of the experience was the crew killed my battery by leaving my cabin lights on and a door open. When I returned to my car both of these things were clearly still on and open. I was told that “batteries can die at anytime”, and “it must have been in a bad state if it died from those actions”. However, three days before the tyre and wheel service here I had the whole car serviced at Ultratune. Including a battery test. Their report came back good and there was no mention of the battery needing replacement or that it was in bad condition. When I told all this to the manager there was no intention to take any responsibility for the mistakes and difficulty caused. No willingness to retest the alignment, no willingness to fix the final tyre, no willingness to take accountability for killing the battery. Terrible experience and would recommend to stay far away from this location.
I had a screw in my tire and I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to get home on my run flat tire, so I stopped into Bob Jane in Perth and spoke to Chris. They were amazing. They were able to fit me in and fix it all within an hour. They were all so helpful!
I recently had a tyre change done at Bob Jane T-Marts Perth, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I booked my appointment about a month in advance and requested to be the first one in and out, since I had other things on that day and would be waiting at the shop. True to their word, despite being absolutely flat out and very busy that morning, the team got it done in just 45 minutes to an hour — I was genuinely shocked (in the best way)! Super efficient, friendly staff, and great communication throughout. Everyone I dealt with was helpful and welcoming. Honestly, it’s rare these days to get service that’s both fast and friendly, especially when a place is under pressure. Huge thanks to the team — I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend them!
Overall, the experience at Bob Jane was great! I had new tyres and new wheels put on, a wheel alignment completed and TPMS transferred. Very professional team who were contactable throughout the whole process. I did a majority of the research (wheel and tyre sizing, offsets, bolt pattern etc) prior to contacting the team at Bob Jane Perth however the team were supportive and were able to confirm stock and availability quickly. I was kept informed of any issues with stock and availability throughout. Tyres and wheels went on after 1 week of placing the order.
Got a cut in my front tire - because of course that happens on a busy day 🙃. Pulled in here and they were fantastic: friendly, quick, and zero upsell nonsense 👍. Ended up replacing both front tires (when one goes, why not give its twin a makeover too? 👯♂️). Total bill - new tires, wheel balancing and alignment - came to 320 AUD 💵. For an unlucky morning, that’s practically a bargain 🍀. Great service, even if my wallet wasn’t planning a workout today 💪😅!
