River was so AMAZING! I didn't know what type of tattoo I wanted. Their creative mind went to work. I had a wonderful experience 20 out 10! Liss is a excellent piercer. I will be going back soon. Thanks for great time in your shop.
I had a botched piercing and went to Liss for the fix! She was caring and friendly from the door and made the experience really comfortable. Prices are super affordable too. Couldn't have asked for a better piercing experience.
Looking for a tattoo and piercing shop with the most knowledgeable and kind staff ever? Look no further than Bridge City Body Art, trust me on this!!! Bridge City is right off Liberty Ave and if you can’t find street parking I’d say to save yourself the stress and go for the Smithfield St. garage. Now that parking is out of the way, you can relax and prepare for a fun and enjoyable experience regardless of the body art you’ve set out for. You can tell that the team at Bridge City genuinely wants you to have a great visit in all the small details they’ve put into their shop. Liss (pierceropossum on Insta) is the piercer and she has the best curated sets of jewelry! The combos are endless. She also does buy one get one free deals on piercings on Tuesdays. My most recent visit was to see Moth (discomothink on Insta) for a couple tattoos on the smaller side. Moth takes their work seriously and is meticulous with their designs and stenciling. I’ve never been anything less than obsessed with my work from Moth, plus their company is a joy! Bridge City Body Art is a great addition to the piercing and tattoo scene of Pittsburgh. It’s an inclusive space where everyone is welcome, the music is 10/10, and the people that own it and work there are fantastic. I will definitely be back within the coming weeks, and I’ve already recommended it to so many folks. I found this shop through my piercer, Liss. It looks beautiful inside — crystals, bones, plants, so much art, etc. Liss has been amazing in the few years I've been seeing her; she'd always been super patient and chill, especially considering my OCD. I had a baby 5 months ago yesterday. Her father and I knew from the beginning that we wanted to get our baby's footprints tattooed. When I found River, I was looking through some of their work, and I knew they'd be perfect for the job, especially due to their shading. I thought I'd never be able to afford such an intricate tattoo, but I just so happened to win River's flash tat giveaway. I decided to just give it a shot, ask about it, and see where it goes, and he was able to do both realistic footprints for $100 a piece since I'd won the giveaway and would already be in. Firstly, I was super grateful that they offered to do them so affordably. Then, the communication was excellent. We had to reschedule a few times, and each time, River was super patient and willing to work together. It all paid off because the tattoos look incredible, and River was super friendly and welcoming! I couldn't be happier with the result. I'm so proud, and I am endlessly thankful. I'd also like to include a shout-out to Moth, who was also there, for having such great energy and music taste! I will definitely be coming back. 100% would recommend. I've already recommended them before when I only knew Liss, but now, I would definitely recommend them even more. All the staff I've met and all the experiences I've had have been fantastic.
Highly recommend. I got a naval piercing and conch piercing. I previously have both done elsewhere and they didn't heal correctly. Liss was informative and patient. We decided on jewelry that would work for my naval (can't do the dangling bottom until it's healed) and a cute chain for the conch. 10/10 would come back for more especially since Tuesday's is buy 1 get 1. Overall vibe of the store is cherry and nice. Super clean!!!
