We have had a wonderful experience at Briscoe Martial Arts! They have been so kind and patient with my young children. My daughters were nervous and unsure, but have loved their time and enjoy coming each day because of their teachers. A great way to get kids up and moving and learn some self defense and discipline.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely love Briscoe Family Martial Arts! The instructors are amazing — they work so well with kids of all ages and skill levels. It still amazes me that they remember every child’s name! We moved here about a year ago, and our son started with no experience. They were patient, encouraging, and made him feel so confident from day one. Highly recommend!
Our entire family (my wife, myself, and our 5 kids) trains at Briscoe Martial Arts, and it has been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made! From the very first class, we felt welcomed like family. The instructors are not only highly skilled but also patient, encouraging, and amazing with kids of all ages. What stands out most is the balance they strike between discipline, respect, and fun. Our kids have grown tremendously in confidence, focus, and physical fitness—while also learning life skills like perseverance and self-control. For us as parents, it’s been a great way to bond with our children while staying active and challenged ourselves. The atmosphere is positive, motivating, and supportive. It’s clear the instructors truly care about every student’s progress both inside and outside the dojo. We always leave class feeling stronger, more energized, and closer as a family. If you’re looking for a martial arts school that values family, community, and personal growth, Briscoe Martial Arts is the place to be. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and truly invested in helping each student grow—both on and off the mat. Watching our kids build confidence and discipline while having fun has been amazing. We’re so grateful to have found Briscoe Family Martial Arts—it’s more than a school, it’s a second home. For years we have been trying to find an activity for my son to do that he enjoys. He is 14 and has sensory processing disorder and is on the autism spectrum. We have truly been through many sports and activities to help him find his favorite. He thought he would never find something he enjoyed and was able to comprehend until we found Briscoe Family Martial Arts. Upon our first visit, the family was more than welcoming and willing to take the extra steps necessary so my son understood what was expected and explained it on a level he could/can understand. My son loves to go to karate, and he has finally found his “thing.” He is thrilled to progress through the program, and his face lights up every time he tests for a new belt and can advance. To the Briscoe Family instructors Tanya, Jason, Julian, Gabby, and Logan, thank you from the bottom of this momma’s heart for taking the extra time with Jayden and helping him finally find his “thing.” We appreciate all of you more than you could ever know!
