We could not have asked for a better pet sitter! Nellie went above and beyond with all of our crazy requests (and we had a lot 🤪). She sent me SO many pictures and videos throughout her visits, which made me feel completely at ease while we were away. Communication was absolutely on point—super quick, clear, and thoughtful. The best part? The night we came home, my two cats were literally sitting by the front door… waiting for HER. I was a tiny bit jealous (lol), but mostly just so happy knowing how loved and cared for they were. 💕 She truly treated them like her own. If you’re looking for someone reliable, caring, and totally in tune with your pets, Nellie is your girl. We’re so grateful we found her!
The best dog walking company! When I adopted my dog, Cal, about 1 year ago, I had my mind set that he was going to be in day care while I was at work, but I didn't take into account that he might not get accepted, and to my surprise, despite how loving and sweet Cal is, he did not get accepted to day care due to the fact that his puppy energy was misunderstood by the other dogs. That said, Brooklyn Tails and Trails saved the day! In fact, as it turns out, I think the dog walking is better for Cal than what day care would be. Cal also loves getting walked twice a day by PJ, who is the best dog walker ever. I think he's more like a camp counselor for dogs. Cal always has a blast and loves walking with his friends, who are all just as sweet as he is. PJ also takes great pictures of Cal and his friends, and writes the most creative captions that really capture the moment. I also think the walking covers 2 needs; (1) Cal gets the exercise he needs, and (2) he gets to socialize with other dogs. Then, in between walks, he gets to nap in his own bed, in a serene environment, as opposed to being in a chaotic environment like day care.Cal has a little anxiety since he's a rescue, so having him walk with Brooklyn Tails and Trails is so much better for him. I also love having the peace of mind that Cal is safe while I'm at work, and being taken care of, as PJ comes to walk him twice a day. I highly recommend Brooklyn Tails and Trails, and if you live in DUMBO, you'll get to have PJ walk your dog. I've also met some of the other walkers, and they are all great, so no matter which neighborhood you live in, you'll have someone reliable walking your dog.
I love Brooklyn Tails & Trails, they give me complete peace of mind and I don't know what I would do without them to walk my dog 4 days a week for 45 minutes a day. Nathaly Carcelen is our walker and she is the absolute BEST of the BEST! She is truly wonderful, my dog gets SO excited to see her everyday, and my doormen also appreciate how professional she is when she comes to pick/drop him off. Brooklyn Tails & Trails sets up a whatsapp group with Nelli and Luis who help to schedule and give updates. Nathaly will give me an update that she is 1 - 2 minutes out from picking up Skippy, sends me the cutest pictures of him and his other dog friends on their walk, and then lets me know if he does 1 and/or 2 on the walk. They also have an easy online booking system if you need to add/cancel walks, but you can also talk through on the whatsapp. And if that isn't enough to get you to book with them today... I fostered a dog recently, I was very stressed about doing it and to support me in this adventure they gave that sweet pup complimentary walks while I found him a new home! They are pet lovers and true professionals, thank you Brooklyn Tails & Trails and the biggest thank you to Nathaly who I couldn't have this pup without! We love Brooklyn Tails & Wags — especially our awesome dog walker, PJ! He’s been walking our two dachshunds, Olive and Jasper, and they absolutely adore him. PJ is super reliable, kind, and always gives us the best little updates. We feel so lucky to have someone we trust taking such good care of our pups. Highly recommend!
Brooklyn Tails and Trails has been walking our dog George for over a year now and we couldn’t recommend them more. They come four times a week, are always on time, and always send us the cutest pics of George on his walks with his friends (attached). We’ve also had them dog sit for George, both at their homes and at ours, and he receives the best care every time. Nelli and her team are incredibly responsive to last minute requests and are almost always able to help make something work for us. George is a bit older and can be very slow/stubborn on walks, especially during the summer, and they’re always patient and careful with him. Our elevator was also out of order for 3 months this past year and they patiently walked him up and down 6 flights of stairs every single day (thank you Isaiah and Crys!). If you’re looking for dog walkers/sitters in the area, look no further cause Brooklyn Tails and Trails is the best!
