My children, ages 11 and 13, loved camp Anothen last summer. They were invited by friends and brought along a cousin. A good time was had by all! Everyone learned, made friends, laughed a lot, and came home exhausted! They had so much fun, I think my city kids would have slept in the trees overnight had I let them! They didn’t want to come home! They’re very much looking forward to next summer and inviting more friends. As a parent I loved seeing them so happy and had zero complaints. The ease of pick up, drop off, and communication make Camp Anothen a breeze.
Thank you for all that y’all did for my teen attending camp!! We look forward to going back next year!! 😊 Thank also all the pictures we got to see of all the fun he had!!
This is our first year signing up our kids to Camp Anothen and what an incredible experience! This camp is definitely one of a kind and I highly recommend it! :)
My 7 yr old son loves this place! He has been going to Camp Anothen the past 3 summers and just attended the T-giving Break Camp Days. We have no idea what goes on during the camp day (except for advertised activities and what he tells us), but he can't seem to get enough of the place! I appreciate the Christian themes, and it is much more diverse than the other similar camps. Having a bi-racial son, representation matters, and CA has a great mix of campers and counselors! How much do we love it? We live in Frisco and make arrangements for him to attend every summer! Great work, CA staff!
We have attended summer camps for the past 2 years and my daughter ABSOLUTELY has a blast every time! She literally talks about it for the entire year. Camp Anothen has opened up their grounds for birthday parties, so we jumped on the idea! They were so accommodating when it came to dates, having outside vendors and themes! The day of the party kids of all ages had a blast playing the ENTIRE DAY zip lining, playing Gaga ball, tag, dancing, exploring and just being kids in a safe environment ! Kids left the party crying because they didn't want to leave! Thank you for making daughters 9th birthday such an amazing experience
