I can’t recommend Capital Automotive Service highly enough. They’ve been looking after my car for a couple of years now, but after my most recent service I felt especially compelled to leave a review. As a young woman, going to the mechanic can sometimes feel intimidating, and I’ve had experiences elsewhere where I didn’t feel fully confident or fairly treated. That has never been the case here. Harry and John have always been honest, patient, and incredibly thorough in explaining what’s needed and why. I’ve always felt respected and never taken advantage of. After this latest service, they went above and beyond to make sure my car was safe, and that I fully understood everything that had been done. I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else.
Harry at Capital Automotive Service went above and beyond to assist me with a roadworthy inspection after another service centre incorrectly failed my vehicle. Harry was friendly, professional and courteous. He liaised direct with the audit team at Access Canberra to ensure my vehicle was in fact legal and roadworthy. He did all this without a prior booking, and at no additional cost above the standard price of a roadworthy inspection. I will be taking my vehicles here for all future services. Can’t praise them enough!
