We hired Cherry on Top for my wedding! Amazing, AMAZING staff and Kathy is such a passionate owner. My husband has celiac disease, we were having so much trouble finding a caterer that understood how sensitive his allergies were and knew what precautions to take. Kathy communicated with us effectively and easily about our concerns. The food was TO DIE FOR, each bite felt like true southern cooking. When we went for our tasting we left stuffed!!! Thank you all so much!
We hired Cherry on Top catering for my daughter’s wedding on 11/22/24. The staff was amazing! If I was to give one critique it would be during our cocktail hour we had appetizers, the servers were coming out with only a dozen in the plate. We had 60+ guests and it seemed like our guest were looking around for the appetizers because they weren’t coming out fast enough. It took more time for the servers to walk back to the kitchen than the time they were outside serving. The pasta could have used a little more sauce but I understand the pre cooking process and then keeping it warm for hours, a top off of sauce could have helped. Other than that… I would hire them again!!
If you're looking for catering for a brunch/breakfast-style wedding then LOOK NO FURTHER! Kathy and the staff at Cherry on Top are amazing and were so pleasant to work with. The food was incredible and our guests loved it. Also, I have celiac disease and Kathy worked with me to make sure I could eat all the food served. Can't thank them enough!
Cherry on top was BY FAR our favorite wedding vendor to work with! We cannot recommend them enough! Kathy was a true joy to work with and to get to know. She truly cared for our event like it was one that she was throwing, and boy did she execute. The food was by far the best wedding food that we have experienced. The catering staff was wonderful too. Overall, we give Cherry on Top and Kathy a 10 out of 10 and will be happy to recommend her to all of our family and friends for their future events. I truly don't think there could be a better wedding caterer in DFW.
I can't say enough about how amazing Kathy and her team were for our wedding! She is extremely professional and puts her whole heart into what she does! Weddings are stressful but choosing Cherry on Top catering took a huge weight off of our shoulders. The food was delicious and the cheese and fruit display was gorgeous!
