I visited Ciao Havana recently on a Saturday, and I left with very mixed feelings regarding the overall experience. On one hand, the atmosphere of the restaurant is wonderful; it possesses a quaint, friendly vibe and a charming aesthetic that is immediately welcoming. My server was exceptionally kind and attentive, and the food itself was quite good. I ordered the chicken alfredo pasta bowl, which was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. However, these highlights were overshadowed by several significant frustrations. The primary reason for my visit was to enjoy a Cuban sandwich, yet despite being listed on the menu, my server informed me that they no longer offer them. Furthermore, while the restaurant features live music, the volume became overwhelming when the performance began around 6:30 PM. It was so loud that I could barely hear my own thoughts, making it nearly impossible to communicate with the staff. When combined with the fact that the meal was super expensive for what I actually received, the value simply was not there. Because of these inconsistencies and the high price point, I would likely not return to Ciao Havana if I stop in Miami again; instead, I would seek out a different establishment that offers more affordable pricing and a more reliable menu.
Beautiful ambience, sat on a table right on the street which felt very European! Service was excellent with such a friendly server who gave great recommendations! We had the croquettes and fried squid to begin which was amazing! (The squid ink tartar sauce is unique!) Mains we got the Frutti De Mare pasta and Cuban Masitas both of which were fantastic! 10/10 recommend!
Amazing food and an authentic Cuban experience! The food was excellent, with high-quality meat and very generous portions. Everything was flavorful and well prepared. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. A perfect place to enjoy traditional Cuban cuisine. Highly recommended!
We walked into Ciao Havana without reservations and left feeling like we’d just had dinner with family. This place is pure magic. First, our server Moises was absolutely incredible, warm, super attentive, and made every moment perfect. He guided us through the menu with spot-on recommendations, checked on us just the right amount, and was attentive the whole night. Moises is the kind of server who turns a great meal into an unforgettable experience. He deserves every praise and compliment in the world! A huge thank-you also to the restaurant manager Catalina. She stopped by our table multiple times, asked how everything was, gave us insider tips about the dishes and Little Havana, and did it all with the best sense of humor and genuine kindness. Her energy and care for every guest is obvious the second you walk in. Catalina is clearly the heart and soul of this place and runs it with so much love. Everything was 10/10. We’ll be back every single time we’re in Miami, and we’ll be asking for Moises and saying hi to Catalina by name. Thank you both for making our night so special. Little Havana wouldn’t be the same without you! ¡Mil gracias! Highly, highly recommend Ciao Havana.
I had an Amazing Time!! I came for my Birthday and they made me feel special and brought out a Tiramisu, sang Happy Birthday and it was so much FUN! The service was great, the Carbonara was delicious! The drinks for ladies were 2 for 1. The music was great! Our waiter was Moises and he made great recommendations and was very friendly and attentive. The Manager Catalina was great too. Overall great experience. I recommend it for great food and a nice time. 😊
