Hello, my name is Karla I just finished the 50 hrs makeup course at Cleopatras Envy! They teach from basic shadow to full glam! The team is awesome. I really recommend coming to cleopatras Envy to be a profesional makeup artist or just to do it for fun!
Amaralys did such an amazing job on not only me (the bride), but the bridesmaids and family. From the process of the makeup trial to the day of wedding, she did SO incredible. I have always had trouble with people matching my neutral, olive skin tone, but Amaralys matched me exactly. I truly felt beautiful. ALSO: even though we had such an early start time (7 AM), everyone's makeup LASTED the whole day (12 AM). Aside from Amaralys, Administrative Assistant, Cynthia was also so sweet and felt that she genuinely cared about clients. I recently stepped out of my comfort zone and did something I never imagined I would—I had my eyebrows tattooed using the Ombre technique. Naturally, I was nervous. What made the experience even better was knowing Dream is an apprentice under the guidance of Amarylis Rivera, the owner and master artist at Cleopatra’s Envy. Amarylis was close by throughout the session, answering questions, offering suggestions, and providing steady support. That additional layer of expertise truly put me at ease. Dream used the Ombre technique to create a soft, natural look that complements my features perfectly. Her attention to detail, combined with Amarylis’s mentorship, made this an experience I’ll never forget—in the best possible way. I feel so incredibly grateful to have stumbled upon Cleopatra’s Envy! I had my bridal makeup and hair this past weekend and they made me look like an absolute goddess. I was stopped and complimented everywhere I went! I got so many compliments and felt so beautiful. My makeup and hair lasted over 14 hours. I cannot stop raving about how incredible this team is, so professional, kind and put out great work. If you’re someone, especially a women of color, you need to go here!
Amara did outstanding with mine and my wedding party’s makeup! We cried all day long and it rained but you can’t tell in the pictures. Makeup looked amazing all day long! She’s a sweetheart and a very talented person. I recommend her for any bride. Easy to get a hold of and easy booking process. You won’t regret your decision! 💕
