Working with the staff at College Hunks has been a great experience! They are on time, professional, friendly and take great care of the items being moved, as well as the surrounding areas. We highly recommend them for any moves.
Lamar and Thomas came from the College Hunks and took away a whole bunch of items we needed hauled off from our home . They were absolutely excellent. They called ahead to let me know they were coming and kept in communication right up until. they arrived. They were quick , left no marks on anything and we had a very heavy very cumbersome bed frame . I would recommend College Hunks and definitely Thomas and Lamar for all your moving and removal needs . They are based in Raleigh and the receptionist(Stacey I believe ) made the booking process super easy . The guys came and gave a no obligation estimate and the prices were more than fair . Purposely gave us a low quote of $1000 so they were lower than other moving companies so we would obviously go with them. Only to charge us another $500 and they didnt even finish! I needed to rent a Uhaul to move the rest of the stuff. To make matters worse they broke my TV that I provided receipts for an offered me $60!!!!! And this was after 8 days after breaking it. They graciously offered me $150 smh. Out $1500, didnt even complete move and im out $1100 for a TV. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. If they do the right thing by refunding me the tv they broke or the incomplete move I will update my review. GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!!! I also tipped them go figure. Update* I called the number given by the "owner". Its the number to their call center God only knows where. The person in the call center is going to forward it to someone at the actual location because i just cant call and speak to them. College hunks didnt even offer to pick up the broken TV, nor are they willing to give me money to replace it. They didnt properly package the TV when they tried moving it. I will be stopping payment on my credit card. Thank you for the free move : ). Ill let your company dispute the card with my CC company. Thanks again 0/10
I move a lot and always dread finding a moving company. Yesterday’s experience was flawless and I will choose College Hunks from now on. They were timely, efficient, professional, and friendly. Moved quickly but carefully. Moved interstate two hours away I was done in 6 hours for a three bedroom home! Really nice guys and price was totally reasonable too. This is my go to moving company from now on!!!!!!
I had a fantastic experience with College Hunks! They sent a heads up text when they were on their way and arrived in the first 30 minutes of my time window and were finished within about an hour. They were able to fit SO MUCH into their truck and we even got charged less than the original estimate! We are remodeling our home and had over a thousand square feet of carpet and underlayment, laminate flooring, thousands of feet of baseboards, kitchen cabinet doors, and several contractor bags and they were able to haul it all away. The guys were amazing and respectful and I plan to recommend them to any friends who need junk removal!
