Pro: Crew arrived exactly on time and did a fantastic job moving our sofa. In and out. even took care to make sure the pets didn't get out. great guys, polite, careful, quick. Cons: Classic "Cheap Quote / Jack up the Price" deal. I put EXACTLY what was moving into the website. I put EXACTLY where it was in the house. Once they got here, they more than doubled the quote. I get that the quote was an estimate. I expected it to change a little. However, there's a difference between "it's a little bigger / heavier, we need to charge a little more" and the B.S. they pulled, but hey, why not take advantage of the fact that I needed the sofa gone and they were already here. So congrats on getting the extra $100, we'll use someone else next time.
Came an hour early, price quoted $109, price charged $276- one sofa from ground level- took advantage of a 70 yo person- they were more than 2x the price of other quotes!
Jamar and Dan are awesome! So skilled, speedy, friendly and professional. So glad I called College Hunks for my junk removal. Plus, they love dogs!
We had such a great experience with Jamar and Jayden who helped us declutter our place! These folks really came through for us when another service that we'd scheduled flaked on us. We called them at 2:15pm on a Sunday and they got here around 3pm. Pricing was much better than the other service we'd scheduled, and when they arrived, the truck was much larger as well so we were able to add more to the pick up that we weren't expecting to be able to add. Jamar and Jayen knew exactly how to handle all of our items, moving them through some tight spaces, including a really tight turn at the bottom of our staircase. Picture is one of the four areas that had stuff that they removed for us. Really appreciate the team and the service provided, we will definitely be using them again and recommending them to our friends and family.
A great experience. Michael & Jaylon were a great team worked diligently to remove our debris and organize our charitable items. A bonus they were fun!!!! Couldn’t ask for anything more will definitely use this company again.
