Randy is a GENIUS of furniture restoration! His skill & knowledge of wood are apparent in the superior QUALITY of his work. I ‘salvage’ heirlooms (unwanted by my family) and take them to Randy. He exposes the artistry of the original craftsmen, including delicate wood inlays & ornamental carvings. My two favorite pieces so far: my grandfather’s writing desk, which, when stripped of sticky green varnish, revealed its Honduran mahogany construction,.. and my great-grandmother’s secretary bookcase, stained black, covering quarter-sawn Tiger Oak. “New” again & stunning, thanks to Randy (who also happens to be a great guy!)
Randy and the team at Colonial Furniture did an incredible job restoring two massive 100 year old French doors for us. Randy was professional, responsive and communicative which made the process easy. To top it off, the doors are more beautiful than we ever anticipated.
