We ate here as a party of 2 with a reservation, so I am not sure what the wait would have looked like without one, although it did not look like it would be too difficult to get a table. I wasn't sure what to expect. The atmosphere seemed kind of formal in some ways but kind of informal in others. Some people were dressed up a bit with others dressed more casually. Our server was friendly and attentive. The huckleberry lemonade and No Pain drinks we had were presented nicely and enjoyable. The filet and au gratin potatoes and gumbo were delicious! The butter on the filet was a tasty addition without distracting from the flavor. My partner enjoyed the surf & turf, baked potato, and bison chili. We were full but decided to take home the toasted s'mores cheesecake, which traveled well and didn't disappoint hours later.
Steaks here are the best I have ever had. This place also has awesome wings. Beer prices here are lower than even local dive bats. This is 100% a classy place with top notch service and great food. They even have a daily happy hour thats awesome where you can get a pint for less than 4 bucks on some great beers. This is for sure my #1 favorite restaurant of all time. Military discount is 15% and royalty members get 10 percent off on everything for up to 6 guests. Chase is my favorite manager at this location. If you have a real problem here he will for sure fix it. They also have an awesome executive lunch that comes with a super steak a huge baked potato and a nice salad for only 19.99. And even with the price of beef going sky high the executive lunch price has not increased in at least a year. I have dined at a few different locations and they are consistent. Chloe was a great server on my last visit.
Had our anniversary dinner here for the first time. Nice atmosphere is the only real nice thing about this place in my experience. We had reservations, upon entering the restaurant there was no one there to greet, no host to he found, there were a few people in line ahead of us trying to check in for dinner. Waited a while until the lady in front of us had to go look for someone to check everyone in. Finally got seated, the restaurant was not packed at all. We ordered the boudin balls, the outside was crunchy, inside was a little too mushy, sauce was good. The top sirloin cesear salad was not as I expected, the steak, which I ordered well done, was way over done, too dry to eat, very very salty as if it was leftover steak they just reseasoned and reheated. Very disappointing. The Cesar salad had iceberg lettuse instead of your typical romaine. That was the only part I really ate, but the dressing was too sweet, did not taste like Cesar salad, couldn't take home because the salad was already so wet , the iceberg lettuse would wilt. For the price of the salad and steak it was not worth it at all. My husband ordered a steak that was ok, would of been better off going to longhorn. The Mac and cheese side had a lot of sauce. Did not finish. The "au gra tin" potatoes were just Cubed potatoes with cheese over it. It was ok. We were disappointed, especially for our anniversary, wanted to try something new .
We decided to try this location since we have been to the one in Cheyenne earlier this year for Mothers Day, it was delish!! Our server Chloe C was GREAT!!! She answered all of our questions and made very yummy suggestions. We will definitely be back to try out other options and also for Happy Hour.
I had a great experience at Colorado’s Rib & Chop House! The steak was cooked a little more than I prefer, with some parts slightly burned, but the flavor on the non-burned sections was absolutely amazing. The carrot smash, which our server Jessica recommended, was delicious and a nice surprise. The soup was also outstanding—rich, flavorful, and very satisfying. Overall, the food was really good, and the service from Jessica made the experience even better. I’d definitely come back and try more dishes! -Vega Approved ✔️👍🏼
