He used to have great service and knowledge about computers back when I first started doing business, but I took my computer that I’ve had for less than five years to him just passed Friday and was told I would receive a call the next day with an update. I received a call Sunday, but it wasn’t about my computer. He was looking for another customer who had dropped off their computer. He told me that he will have a technician come in Monday to check my computer so I waited. Tuesday, I caught him multiple times before getting a Call back later that evening To tell me that part that I needed it was outdated for my computer and it will be very expensive of $180 but when he told me the part name I looked on Amazon and seen them starting at $35. He asked for his part information, and I provided it to him and even shared the link so he could see it for himself, as well as ordering it for myself, and he was supposed to give me a return call but after waiting until the next day, I decided to call myself he told me that his guy never brought the part to check in my computer and he tried all kind of other things and got it to come on for five minutes then it went off. I previously explained it to him numerous times how important it was for me to get my computer back as quick as possible, and he did not satisfy my need or use proper communications with me so today I went to pick my computer up the screw out the back was missing And the tray isn’t slid back on properly and I am informed him yesterday that I was coming this morning to pick it up. Jay, I think it’s time for you to retire buddy. This is not for you anymore. Sorry but you wasted my time it cost me a lot of grief in this process. That’s why I give you the lowest review I can give and I will never return to do business again. (Follow up) Well after I retrieved my computer and replaced my VGA card and now my computer works I was gonna change my review from a 1 start to 2 star because Jay did say I might need 1 so I ordered it. After reading his comment to my review my opinion still stands and valid the reason I said it’s time to give it up. How can my computer be dead and I was able to fix the problem with a $40 part from Amazon smh just give it up buddy its ok to admit you are getting old and you can’t perform as good as you use to… Thank for referring me to the new VGA card My last follow up since you followed up with another one. I came on today to change my star review from a one star to a two star because my computer has been working great since I’ve changed the VGA card which you did suggest but did not I repeat did not put one in to check to see if that was the issue with my computer. You cleared my computer with DOA. Because of the loud noise, my original VGA card was making not my power supply nor my power button is an issue. I paid Best Buy geek squad $65 just to check it out after I put the VGA card in just to make sure I wasn’t going to have any further issues. Paying for services isn’t a issue for me wasting my time is a big problem to me and you have my computer for four days and couldn’t figure out anything that was wrong with it because you claim it was a dead computer after you and your technician did y’all diagnostic. But as I said, I came here to change my star review and I did wish you nothing but the best of luck in your continued journey before future references before you tell a customer their computer is not any good. Make sure you check everything so, you won’t experience another bad review because you definitely lost my service for life.
I would never go to this place, as a heads up please never think all repairs on a pc/laptop will cost $50. I would take my pc to a reputable place such as Best Buy/Geek Squad $180 covers all tech repairs for a full year!!!
Took my laptop in due to it being black screened, took two days to even communicate what was wrong with it, then took it home, opened it up and it was completely locked up and wouldn’t function at all, he proceeded to tell me a chill pad (a fan) was a fix for it when it hasn’t had a problem in the six years I’ve had it, then says well you can take it back in and I’ll work on it again, it’s suppose to be REPAIRED, not completely wiped of all data and broken when I open it and paid for repairs. All my data is gone and the entire computer is fried all of the sudden. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.
He is the best. He helped me fix my computer with the least effort, and the price was convenient! The place is in Eastpointe city. Near Kelly and 9 mile. He even recommended me other solutions. Thank you the expert guy!
Have been going to Jay for over 10 years. Very kind and gets the job done. Yes he has a voice-mail, follow directions and he will call you back. Yes his office is hot as hell but have everything you need prepared and you won't have to stay long!! Lol. Keep doing Great work Buddy!!
