What an amazing experience. I’ve done a few cooking classes and by a mile this has been the best one. The instruction was top tier and the food…… let’s just say you will want to take a nap afterwards. If you are on the fence, don’t be…. Run and book your class time NOW!!!
This was the best birthday experience! We had a 5 year old princess birthday parties and Chef Dee Dee exceeded expectations! The girls learned how to cook new things, super interactive, and so much fun! Chef Dee Dee was so patient and kind to our busy/talkative little princesses! Her prices were affordable and worth it for all you get! I would definitely recommend this place for a birthday party or group gathering for kids 5 and up! I can’t wait to try it again for an adult cooking night!
Me and my friend came here for a cooking class and I’m glad we did. We had China as our instructor and she was so amazing. She’s very funny, nice and blunt. Love that! She told us stories throughout the class as we were cooking which kept us really entertained. She gave us tips about what to do and what not to do that will follow us for the rest of our lives in the kitchen. I highly recommend taking this class!
I was in search of a fun and interactive cooking class to plan a date night for my boyfriend and I. Cooking with a Twist popped up on Google and had fantastic reviews. I went on the website and decided to take the Jamaican themed class. It was priced at $180 per couple. The menu for the night was black bean soup, rice and peas, jerk chicken and shrimp, and rum cake. They already had everything prepped for us. The chef told us exactly how to make each dish. Everything we had was bursting with flavor. The class was so much fun! The chef even threw in some cooking education and he made us laugh while doing it. I highly recommend this class to everyone! It’s easy for even a novice cook. They even had a little music going on. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and the service provided. It was definitely a vibe and a fun date night. I would love to go back for the other classes. Also it’s BYOB!
My husband and I were invited by a friend as a group date night. I knew my husband would enjoy the food, but as a vegetarian I knew I wouldn’t be able to eat the food. I decided to signup, even if I just went to socialize and learn some things. I was surprised when Chef Dee Dee came over and told our table how we could adjust the recipe to make it vegetarian. She also made sure I pulled out some mac and cheese before adding the lobster. I had baked mac and cheese all to myself! I was also able to have some collard greens and they were delicious. Everyone at the table said how good they were, even without the ham. There was nothing that did not impress us. Chef Dee Dee and her staff were prepared, attentive, and patient with all the different levels of cooking experience. I’m not a meat eater, but I’m excited to sign up for another class, even if I can’t eat it. The music playing on the background, the laughs, the Chef…it was all a great experience.
