This is a story about how a Tiny Puerto Rican Chiropractor won my chiropractic heart! I was having back issues after several old neck surgeries and a car accident last year. My spouse recommended that I go to Core Chiropractic on Richmond and give her person a try. I walk in on a Monday and it so happened Dr. West (her person) was not in the office and they put me in a room with a tiny little Dr. named Dr. Castillo... X-rays first and our personalities hit it off like Fuego! She was my kind of person buuuut I did have a question about her size and if she could handle this level of amazing! She was up for the challenge, she cracked my back, almost twisted off my neck (in a good way) and even helped with my shoulder from playing the manliest of manly sport of Pickleball! lol (Cue the sad music) - When the appointment was over, she said next week, you will see Dr. West because your spouse referred you to him. I definitely felt the disappointment. I went home and told my spouse that I was thinking about staying with the Fiery Little Latina and she told me that was ok. After my spouse's next appointment with Dr. West, she came home and said I think the feeling was mutual. I have been going for a few months have never been as happy with a Chiropractor as I am. In a time when I feel like just another patient in a long line of impersonal providers, Dr. Castillo has started my journey in believing there are doctors out there that will take the time to know you and think of you as more than just a number and a paycheck. These folks are truly amazing! They ask about your immediate, short term, and long term goals and they ensure you reach them. Dr. West is awesome and incredibly receptive towards your needs. My initial visit I was in pain and by the end of the day my lower back pain was relieved. An awesome and intentional group of people work here!
Dr. Castillo and her team are the best. They’re personable and informative. I highly recommend them to anyone who is hesitant about chiropractic care or doctor visits in general, they walk you through every step and made me feel super comfortable. As my first time seeing a chiropractor, I couldn’t have had a better experience.
Dr Castillo and the team have been so helpful and friendly. I started going for severe neck pain and was able to get relief and mobility back. They provide a lot of resources for at home care, are flexible with scheduling, and understand every one has different goals and financial abilities. I would recommend this place to any one, of any and all ages age, with or without back pain!
Absolutely five stars for CORE Chiropractic, Greenway Plaza! The staff here is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always goes out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable and well taken care of. The service is top-notch, and their attention to detail really sets them apart. As someone who’s been cycling for years, I came in with lingering issues, and I’ve genuinely felt a difference since starting care here. They’ve helped me feel aligned and stronger with every visit. Highly recommend!
