The food is fantastic!! Dining room is really clean and cozy. We loved it all. Butter goat was very creamy. Aloo Gobar (potato and cauliflower) was also tasty. Raita was very fresh but the Nan (garlic and butter) was perfect. Def coming back!
The food was delicious. I tried the salmon tikka masala and the chicken sheesh kebab. Both had the right amount of spice and were super flavorful. Portions were of good size. Definitely will come back again.
More people should be here!!! The atmosphere is that of an authentic Indian restaurant. My friend and I came here expecting decent food and left on a mission to get more support for this restaurant. Crown of India is well managed by its owner, who checked on us personally to make sure we enjoyed our meal alongside the personable staff. The price is great considering it’s right off of a popular street in LA in an area known for highly priced food(full spread was $70). The portion sizes are truly well done. You will leave here with your heart and belly full. We will be back with more people!!! Support a local business. P.S. FREE PARKING
Ok. I will say, I’ve been trying all different kinds of Indian food all around LA. I. Like to think I know what I’m talking about when I say this is the best Indian restaurant in LA and it’s not even close. Super low key. The staff is super friendly and star of the show, the food is amazing! If you’re looking for great Indian food in the LA area, this is where you go. If you want bougie overrated stuff you can go somewhere else. Can’t say enough good things about this place!
Best Indian food I’ve tried in LA! The chicken tikka masala is 10/10. Maruf the manager took great care of us and you can tell that he takes great pride in his restaurant and loves what he does. If you’re looking for amazing and authentic Indian, food this is defintley the spot. I order it for delivery all the time too because it’s that good! Also a huge fan of the garlic cheese nan and the chicken samosa when I’ve tried them in the past. They also have a small parking lot out front which always makes it convenient to stop in. Highly recommend!
