Great place for car repair they specialize in Transmission. I was having transmission problems calling all over town everone else quoted me high price just to inspect my car, but not here ..ask for Arunulfo he very honest and will gjve you the best price I love this place!! .I am now taking my car there for any services I need..if he can't repair he will refer you..job done in timely manner! very professional !! and honest 💕
As an newer person to LA and on a fixed income I trusted the reviews I saw online about this place and I must say they were true. I also like how even if there is a poor review the team responds. I had a vehicle that was sitting for 3 yrs and AAA had told the owner it needed a new transmission but after the team checked it out, it did not. Overall they saved me 1000s of dollars, performed the work needed promptly and communication was fantastic. Definitely recommend this team. I am a retired female and sometimes feel vulnerable when it comes to car repair but these guys restored my faith in good honest mechanics. Thank you so much!
A word to the wise. When getting a quote make sure you ask for a full quote so you won't have any surprises when you get there. They knew that my transmission had to be reprogrammed but did not tell me the price when I asked for a quote. I contacted other shops and they said that the reprogramming is a part of the process. Just a warning.
I thought my Ford Edge had transmission problem but D&E took a quick look and discovered it was a wheel baring issue (much cheaper problem!!). Honest and professional happy to recommend this company.
The transmission on my 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 LTZ went out on me. I’ve been procrastinating on getting it rebuilt because I could feel it was in need of a transmission overhaul. Reputable transmission shops were backed up or in San Fernando Valley. Lo and behold, D&E are just around the corner from where I live. Took my Silverado to them and they had it ready about two days ahead of schedule. Drove it for a while and it developed a shifting issue. Returned it to D&E. Turns out I needed a new valve body. Alex and his crew removed and replaced it at no cost because it’s covered by their warranty. As of today, my truck is running like a champ. Keep in mind I not only use my 4 wheel drive almost every weekend and I work in the hills of SoCal where signal is null and calling for assistance of any sort is a challenge. Having my transmission go out far from help is not something anyone would appreciate. D&E’s quality and assurance of their work is of optimal integrity. I always do my own oil changes and transmission as well, but D&E’s prices are pretty close to when I do it myself. I don’t mind taking it to D&E now because transmission fluid changing on a Chevy Silverado is a pain in the neck, literally if you don’t have a lift. For all my transmission needs, I recommend D&E. I was skeptical about them because I’ve had the same mechanic for over 30 years. He just doesn’t do transmissions. I put D&E on par with my decades old general mechanic.
