These guys are the best in the area. Daniel knows his craft and Monica is such a skilled artist. Don't bother with the places on Melrose that are all hype. These guys are the real deal with the experience to back it up!
Booked an appointment for friday 7pm 10/3 Got a confirmation text saying it was booked. Website and google said it was open. Payed to get an uber, walked to the door only to find they were closed with no explanation. Upon finding this out I tried to call the number, couldnt even leave a message because the message bank was full. Complete waste of my time.
Both the most expensive haircut I’ve ever had and the worst haircut I’ve ever had. I went in for a major cut with Daniel Alfonso, taking my hair from mid-back to above the shoulder. Daniel was on autopilot the entire cut and repeatedly ignored my warnings that my hair is extremely thick and curly, and that it would need to be cut in a way to prevent poofiness. He didn’t account for this when making the first major cut, and I could actually see the panic in his face as my hair started to dry and rise. Then, because he didn’t budget enough time for my cut, he just lathered in an insane amount of product to tame my hair and call it a day. Do NOT come here if you have longer curly hair. He’s probably good for clipper cuts, but I’d honestly never come back. You’re just paying top dollar for a mediocre hair cut by a guy who drives a cool vintage car.
I’ve probably been through 20+ different hairstylists and barbers over the years, and have always dreaded getting my hair cut. But all that’s changed now that I’ve found Emily Gonzales. For the first time ever, I’m actually excited and look forward to getting my hair cut. Not only is Emily incredibly skilled at cutting hair, but she’s also incredibly genuine and so fun to talk to. Even if I wasn’t getting my hair cut, I’d probably book an appointment just to talk to Emily. Besides being super skilled and fun, she’s also insanely hard working, curious, and eager to grow & improve. As phenomenal as she is now, she’ll probably keep getting even better. Get on her roster now before she’s too famous to take on new clients!
Este lugar es increíble. Muy buena decoración y te ofrecen una margarita mientras te arreglan el cabello. Finalmente encontré un salón y un estilista que pueden trabajar con el cabello largo de mi hijo, de estilo rockero. Mickey hizo un gran trabajo y mi hijo quedó muy feliz con su cabello (por fin). Dice que es un salón para hombres, pero también vi a mujeres haciéndose sus peinados allí.
