Delicious food and a delightful way to spend the evening. Went with a couple friends, we sat on the bar side and ordered multiple sides: the Brussels sprouts, lobster mashed potatoes, and mushrooms which were to die for. The bartender makes a fantastic martini! 🍸
Overall experience: 10/10 Walked off the street from a run, was seated promptly within 5 minutes. I was given a table with great view (ask for outside of the temp allows) and a very nice waiter named Molly (I think). The food was very high quality and very flavorful, I got the lobster mashed potato’s side, crispy Brussels sprouts side, and the bama pudding for dessert (all pictured). The only complaint I had was that the lobster mashed potato’s had virtually no lobster in it, so I would recommend against getting that item. The Brussels sprouts were flavorful and crisp with a nice sauce that went perfect with the potato’s. Banana pudding is very hard to find these days, and theirs was MASSIVE and possibly the only dessert worth the price ($14) on the entire city. Interior was clean, staff were cheerful and pleasant. Would highly recommend.
We had a nice Thanksgiving dinner at Daniel's Broiler. They had a nice selection of their special prix fixe menu - for about $100 each we received an appetizer, main and dessert. I enjoyed their fabulous craft cocktails. Service was excellent - everyone was friendly and good came out quickly though the restaurant was full.
Wow the food was phenomenal! It’s on the higher price point so great to save for a special occasion or date night. But worth the cost. We made reservations so I recommend doing so in case they’re booked up.
I was craving a good steak and seafood and Daniel’s Broiler sounded like a good option. There’s a few parking spaces for restaurant guests, but the rest of parking you had to pay. We were able to grab the last reserved parking spot. We didn’t make reservations but we were able to be sat down within a few minutes. I liked that they had their steaks on display so we can see the marble . We were sat next to the window over looking the pier. We saw the local raccoons run around. We started off with the bacon wrapped scallop and jumbo prawn. The table also had a couple bread rolls and salted butter and I had the lavender martini. The bacon wrapped scallops were cooked perfectly. The bacon was thin , yet not over cooked and crispy, which paired well with the scallops. The scallops were flaky and tender. The jumbo prawn were huge, the avocado wasn’t necessary. I ordered the Wagyu ribeye cooked medium rare and the garlic mashed potatoes. My partner ordered the Daniel’s filet mignon, cooked medium rare with garlic mashed potatoes. Upon delivery of our steaks , they had us cut into the middle for doneness. My ribeye was delicious, as well as the mashed potato. My partners filet mignon was burnt. Which was unfortunate because the middle was a nice rare. I tried a piece of his filet mignon, and I could smell the burnt steak and it tasted bitter from being burnt. Overall, the scallops, ribeye and mashed potatoes were great. But for the price , it was very very spendy, especially to get a filet mignon that was burnt.
