I can't not give this 5 stars because it's one of the best farmer's markets in the state. Shoppers should be aware that it is more expensive, though. For cheaper goods from some of the same farms check out the Sunday market in Sacramento
Visit what’s unique and make a friend: Every farmers market has fruits and veggies— don’t miss what is unique by visiting Davis free speach/community group area up north of craft area by the play area. It is the largest free speach area in Northern California. Booths range from Flat Earth Society and Yolo GOP to Democrats, pro Israel, local theater groups, preschools, uplifting lawn signs, blood drives, churches, State Police, local politicians, city of Davis. We may disagree with one another but we joyfully share the space in Saturdays and are all local volunteers working for a better world. Come talk to us- unlike every other booth in the market we don’t want your money—- we want something even more valuable—your friendship. Come by and learn how you can make our beloved Davis an even better place….
Came here ok Saturdays and this place is amazing with lots of vendor selling produce, fruits and food . Highly recommended if you are in Davis on Wednesday or Saturday.
I don't normally frequent any farmers market so I don't have much to compare to. I thought this one had lots of different booths. Was funny to see a booth even for flat earth people. Was surprised to see food prices as high or higher than my usual grocery store. I guess the idea is it's fresher. Was worth the visit but I won't be a regular.
This is one of the best markets We've ever visited and we live in CA. Talk about different vendors from fruits, yummy food, organic drinks, delicious pastries, different freshly made cheeses, honey and wine! This was a really great treat as we got to savor different fruits and some great yummy foods.
