I love shopping at Deep Roots Natives! The staff is always welcoming and knowledgeable, and the store has such a great vibe. They consistently have good deals and discounts, which makes shopping there even better — especially the 10% discount they’re offering right now. It’s definitely one of my favorite places to shop, and I always leave happy with my experience.
Every single plug I bought from here is thriving! I live in Cary and visited this shop on a whim when in the area. It has a great selection of native plants, including rather hard-to-find species, at affordable prices. The plugs especially are a great value, and much easier than growing from seed yourself. Pictured are a few of the plugs I bought, now much larger in only a few months. This nursery really jump-started my native garden!
I have got multiple plants from this place recently and have had great success establishing them. The staff members are very friendly and this is a great place to get native plants from and build your garden! I am already seeing my garden getting filled with birds, bees, and butterflies!
Nice selection of NC native plants (and cultivars). They have informative/helpful laminated info cards for pollinators, aquatic plants, shade plants, etc. You can pet the furry employees that sleep/lounge here, too!
This is our go-to plant store. They have a really diverse selection of native plants, and have options suited for a wide range of conditions (sun, shade, different moisture levels, etc.). The staff are great at making recommendations, and as a result we've had a very high success rate across flowers, grasses, shrubs, and trees. The best part is that many of the plants are perennials, and have been getting better each year. Highly recommend!
