Each instructor is helpful and knowledgeable with our special needs son. They go above and beyond to help him each time. Even when he gets confused and doesn't understand something. A young blackbelt kid always goes to him, and tells him it's ok, and shows him using hand over hand. They have his best interest at heart. Daniel has thrived way beyond what we could have imagined because of Destiny Martial Arts....
Destiny Martial Arts has been amazing for our family. My daughter started in Little Dragons about six months ago. The staff are great with kids and take extra effort to provide positive reinforcement and encouragement. In less than a month she was noticeably more confident, brave, and outgoing. Her academics have improved and she is making leaps forward overall. I cannot recommend Destiny enough.
I posted the review below approximately four months ago. Since then, I have seen my grandson continue to grow in his martial art and make tremendous progress in his skill level. He also joined the Destiny's Demo Team which recently competed at a Regional Tournament. It was his first time competing in a tournament and performing with the Demo Team at a Regional Tournament and it was an amazing experience for him, his mom, and me. There were hundreds of people there and every single person thorough enjoyed themselves - both the competitors and spectators. I did not hear one single unkind word the entire day and every single competitor was made to feel very special. Mr. and Mrs. Master as well as all of the Black Belt instructors are terrific instructors and mentors, blending discipline, constructive criticism, and positive reinforcement to make each and every student feel very special and seen - not an easy thing to do with the wide variety of ages, physiques, and skill level of their students. What a blessing for our family to be part of such an incredible martial arts family and, in particular, Destiny Martial Arts Academy. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Destiny Martial Arts Academy is not only an exceptional karate training studio, but it instills tremendous core values in every student. My teenage grandson has grown in not only his skill level, but in many other ways as well. He fully intends to be a dedicated student at Destiny Martial Arts Academy until he achieves his Black Belt - and beyond! Mr. and Mrs. Master could not be better instructors and positive influences on every student whose lives they touch. It truly feels like the entire academy is one big extended family!
We signed up about three months ago and I honestly wish I could give them 10 stars. Every SINGLE instructor and participant are the kindest and most encouraging group of people we have ever come across. Our son is on the autism spectrum and sometimes finding a facility that follows up on what they say is a bit difficult. Not here. They treat him with respect, make sure to meet him on his level, are beyond patient with him and most importantly, friendly and inclusive. He doesn’t feel left out not part of any groups. I highly recommend this karate studio for anyone looking for a place to belong, while learning some amazing karate skills along the way.
This was our first day, excellent customer service! Loved they took the one on one time to help out my son since he is very timid, and doesn't have alot of social skills. They were great!! We will give the trial a good run, and see if it works out! First day was great!!
