Super experience. They took their time from beginning to the end. The final product is a definite reflection. I'm not sure why a person would look elsewhere. Don't pay attention to the mirror, they weren't done when I popped in unannounced. Warranty length on the PPF was surprising, the outcome was sick.. Kevin H
When I decided to have my Corvette ceramic coated, I reached out to Alex at Detail Doctors to get his thoughts on working with paint from the ’90s. He gave me an honest and confident assessment of its condition and walked me through a few key decisions for certain areas of the car. Feeling assured, I moved forward—and I’m so glad I did. The results were absolutely outstanding. My Corvette looked like a completely different car when I picked it up; the paint has never looked better. Since then, countless people have stopped me on the street and at shows to ask how the finish looks so incredible. I tell them that Detail Doctors truly elevated it to the next level. I learned about Detail Doctors Auto Protection and Detailing from the Porsche Club of Kansas City. I stopped by on November 7, 2025 to inquire about getting my 2026 Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS ceramic coated. I was greeted by Chloe (one of the owners) and she answered all of my questions and gave me a demonstration of how the ceramic coating shed water off of a car in the shop. She then gave me a quick tour of the detailing area and introduced me to Alex (the other owner) along with Paul. Everyone was friendly, polite and professional. Alex and Chloe went over the different options for ceramic coating and I booked an appointment for 11/17. I dropped off the car the Saturday before the appointment and my car was stored inside the shop. I was told that it would take a couple of days before my car would be ready, as the product needs some time to cure. I got a text Tuesday afternoon that my car would be ready Wednesday afternoon as promised. When I arrived to pick up my car I was greeted by Alex and we headed back to see the car. When I walked through the door to the detail area I was shocked at how well the car looked. The paint looked like liquid! It was gorgeous! Alex and Paul gave me a few moments to soak it in. Paul then pulled the car outside so I could see it in the sun to get a better appreciation of the finish on the car! It was stunning! The detail was amazing. Alex explained the warranty and invited me back in a couple of weeks to wash the car and ensure everything is in order with the ceramic coating. The service from everyone at Detail Doctor was top notch! I would definitely recommend them for ceramic coating and detailing! This is the first time having a ceramic coating applied to a vehicle, but I cannot imagine how it could be possible to have a better result. Go see Alex, Chloe and Paul if you want your expectations exceeded!
I took my 2025 BMW X1 M35i in last week for ceramic coating. I chose the VIP (12+ year) plan account I intend to keep this vehicle for at least that long. The plan includes not only the exterior ceramic coat (with biannual follow-ups to confirm the coating over the duration of the coverage), but also an interior detailing. I went to pick my vehicle up Sunday morning and I have to say, even though it is only a couple months old now, the vehicle looks amazing inside and out. Alex, Paul and the crew at Detail Doctors KC knocked it out of the park. I didn't get to meet Alex, but Paul was there when I dropped off and picked up my vehicle. He couldn't have been any nicer both times; he was very thorough with an explanation of what to expect, and what to do moving forward to help guarantee my vehicle looks amazing for as long as is possible. Lest I forget, Alex put up with countless emails from me, as this is my first foray into ceramic coating. Alex and his team went well above and beyond to make certain I was comfortable with the process and plan, and made absolutely certain I was happy with the outcome! Time will certainly tell, but at this point I would highly recommend their services.
Alex and the Detail Doctors team did an amazing job wrapping my BMW M4 comp in clear matte PPF and matte ceramic coating it as well. Their pricing, professionalism, and their effort to make sure things turned out right is unmatched. The communication throughout the entire process was very much appreciated; Alex would provide consistent texts with how the job is going and even kept in touch after the job was complete to make sure everything is right. I highly recommend this business to anyone that is looking for someone to trust in wrapping their car. Looking forward to working with them again in the future.
