I’m vegetarian and this is hands-down, my favorite restaurant in the Bay Area. They have many dishes to choose from for a vegetarian and big portions so get a take away box. The food is absolutely delicious.
One of our go to spots for Middle Eastern food. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and everything we’ve tried has been consistently delicious. The staff is always warm and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The only downside is the parking lot, it can feel a bit unsafe, so it’s worth checking on your car from time to time. Still, the food and service keep us coming back.
Dish n Dash is a great spot in North San Jose to grab lunch with coworkers. The wait can be a bit long midday, but it moves pretty fast. We came in around 12:15 on a Tuesday and were seated by 12:40pm. I ordered the chicken shawarma salad (medium), which comes with two sides (tabbouleh and baba ganoush) and pita. The serving size is generous — I brought leftovers home. Our group of 5 was able to find seating pretty easily. It’s nice that they have outdoor seating, too. Parking can be tight, so we had to find parking around the corner from the complex and walk over. The chicken shawarma salad was 17.95$ before tip, and I took home leftovers. Staff are friendly and attentive — overall, a great work day lunch option!
Wonderful food, full plates, and great options you will always leave satisfied. Healthy and vegetarian options are available too. Everything is always well presented and tasty.
Brilliant food. Love the tenderness of meat and the flavours. The Sweet Beet juice was refreshingly good. The only change I'd love to see is a Picture based Menu for those who aren't familiar with eating here. It can be a little hard for new comers to comprehend what their meal looks like and how much are they getting.
