I found DWE through my NextDoor app. He was highly recommended and had good references. I called him on a Sat evening expecting to leave a message but he answered. I was having a spa installed and needed some pre-electrical work done. Douglas came over the next morning, assessed what needed to be done and gave me a very reasonable quote. I promptly accepted the bid and scheduled for the following week. True to his word, Douglas and his partner showed up on time and completed the work as well as some other minor issues that other electricians had missed (no charge). Douglas is professional, polite, knowledgeable, thorough and true to his word. He explained every step along the way and stayed in constant communication. No nickel and dime process either. Project was done timely and I know I received a better than fair deal. DWE is highly recommend and I’ll use them again for future projects.
I had what turned out to be a small electrical project that most companies wouldn’t even consider, but Douglas was more than willing to help. They came out quickly, were super helpful, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I really appreciated how mindful they were of the budget—offering practical solutions that worked without pushing unnecessary extras. It’s refreshing to find someone local who’s reliable, honest, and cares about doing good work no matter the size of the job. Highly recommend!
So, let me start out with me saying "I DO NOT MESS WITH ELECTRICITY"! I called Douglas Wright Friday morning because I was installing a ceiling fan, which I have done a few times before. This one was different. Different receptacle and I was just confused. I talked to Doug and he asked that I send him a photo of what I was dealing with. After he received it, he called me back to walk me through how to proceed. Spent about 10 minutes talking me through parts needed and next steps. He did not need to do that, but boy did it help. I was able to go to Lowe's to get what I needed and completed the hanging portion of the fan. However, upon attempting to put in the wall controls for it, I came across this cluster. 6 total controls in a 4 space plate. The wires looked janky and not well done from the previous person. I called Doug back and he was able to come by first thing Saturday morning. It took him about 2 hours to get everything sorted out, but completed it and it looks 10 times better and more professional now. Doug was great to talk to. I hope I didn't get in his way at all, but he was able to walk me through things and show me some things while working on it. Had some great conversations at the same time. Extremely polite and professional. If you are in need of an electrician, DO NOT hesitate to give him a call.
We had an awesome experience with Douglas. We called him and he showed up an hour later to initially go over everything we wanted to have done. We wanted 4 electrical outlets and 2 lights put into our garage. After agreeing on the project, he told us he would be here the next morning and complete the project. They came right at 8am. They did an amazing job! We are extremely happy with how, everything turned out! * Highly recommended! * Quality work! * Very friendly!
