I took two sessions, 1.5 hours each so about 3 hours in total. I started the first session 3 days before my test and the second session the next day. They gave me pointers and their feedback on what I needed to work on was so helpful. Their advice and tips were explained well and overall made me a way better driver. They helped me gain the confidence to feel good about my driving which I think needed to happen before I took the test. I haven't driven consistently before those sessions. On the day of my test, which was actually today, I passed, my only mistake being parallel driving but that was pretty much it. I used to just drive with my dad before then, but I truly think that if you have the chance and availability, book your lessons with them! You won’t regret it. Will be recommending them to my relatives.
I wholeheartedly recommend this driving school. Greg was patient and knowledgeable, helping me to get my license. Lessons were clearly structured providing guidance on my weak areas and helped me pass the road test.
This is the best driving class you’ll get on O’ahu! The instructors are patient, kind, & knowledgeable about the rules of the road. They are friendly & make sure you are comfortable driving! 100/10 recommend!
Before coming to this driving school, I had a really disappointing experience elsewhere — I spent two hours just sitting in a classroom instead of actually learning how to drive. But with Greg, everything changed from the very first seconds. I got behind the wheel right away and started driving. Greg is incredibly patient and respectful — he never once raised his voice, even when I made silly mistakes or got confused. He made me feel safe and supported the whole time. Every single thing I asked to work on — we did. 100%. I’m truly grateful to Greg for teaching me how to drive confidently. If you’re looking for a real instructor who actually teaches you, not just wastes your time — Greg is the one.
I had a fantastic experience learning to drive with Driving School of Hawaii. Greg always took the time to ensure I fully understood what I was doing wrong and how I could improve before moving on. I may have failed my first test but he did not discouraged me and instead helped me become fully prepared for when I took the test again. I highly recommend these people to anyone looking for skilled and supportive driving instructors. They truly go above and beyond to help their students succeed.
