Today was my first time trying this food truck! I ordered four different items and I wish I had doubled the order! Everything was incredible. The flavors were so distinctly different and so good! I’m not even a little embarrassed to say I ate EVERYTHING when I got home!
This place is so great. The only Guatemalan food in Pittsburgh that I know of. The man at the front desk is very nice and really knows how to treat his customers right. The menu is kind of limited but the quality definitely makes up for it. I got to try their yucca fries with chicken. It was amazing. A little too salty for my liking, but still, really really good, and a very fair price for the nice portion. The fries were super crispy and so flavorful. The chicken was perfectly cooked in these crumbles, and it added a nice extra savory touch. The sauce was creamy and all around great. All in all, definitely try this place out if you ever see it around. Sometimes it is by Old Thunder, which is where I got to try them out.
I traveled far to get some happy food :) Thank you Carlos for the experience! I can't pick my favorite because everything was my favorite. Next time I'm in Pittsburgh I hope to find your Food Truck again. P.S don't forget you owe me Horchata for the next one.
Have never had anything other than delicious food here. The flavors are unique but still familiar and comforting so even someone who's maybe not the most adventurous eater would like it. We love the yuca fries, adobo chicken sandwich, shuco, and Taquitos!
