El Pueblito en Plano ofrece comida mexicana fresca y deliciosa con un servicio rápido y amable. Un clásico local desde hace más de 30 años, se destaca por sus totopos y salsa, fajitas, enchiladas y margaritas, con un ambiente cálido y hogareño y noches de viernes muy animadas. Entre las especialidades se encuentran chiles rellenos, carne asada, camarón Diablo y hasta bagre, y se pueden acompañar con cerveza Victoria o tequila blanco.

Ordered the chicken quesadillas, chicken chimichanga, and menudo. The shredded chicken was very tasty in both plates. I liked the rice and the beans were ok. The menudo was also ok. It was a bit on the bland side. I personally like my menudo made with spicier flavors. The salsa they give you with chips was not great. It had no kick at all. Do yourself a favor and ask for the spicier salsa. The service was great and friendly.
This place is a solid spot for Mexican food. I hope to go back and try something with more flavor (and update my review). I ordered the nachos and they were plentiful and great value for the price. Somehow they were a bit bland and I really had to fix them up with the toppings. The margarita was also delicious. Service was quick, attentive, and efficient too.
Some of the best Mexican we have had in the north Dallas burbs. Great drinks (margs), specials. Queso. Recommend enchiladas and carne asada. Packed on a Friday night with smallish amounts of seating. Will return.
I started coming to El Pueblito’s in Plano over 30 years ago — every Friday night for many years when my boys were little. Walking back in today brought back so many memories, and I’m happy to say it’s still just as great now as it was back then! The food was fresh and delicious, the service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was packed (just like it always used to be!). From the chips and salsa to the fajitas and margaritas, everything tasted like home. It’s nice to know that some things never change — El Pueblito’s is still one of my favorites after all these years. 💛🌮🍹
Let me tell you, this place is just delicious! My wife was so excited when she opened her chili Relleno and tasted the shrimp Diablo, it did the happy dance. I always go for Juan's favorite, the catfish in a Mexican restaurant with a side salad - it's strange but so tasty. Oh, and you have to try the Victoria beer, it's a bit thicker than usual but really good. And don't forget to add a little shot of Blanco tequila, it's fire! If you want to feel at home, definitely check this place out!!
