Tom helped me with my twinkling tree light after I toasted the circuit board after plugging it in with the wrong charger. I really didn’t want to toss it in the landfill and create more waste so I sought ways to fix it. Tom took time to troubleshoot and gave me different options to get it fixed that required various time and effort to scavenge for the right parts. Since the tree light was only $40 to purchase, I just went with having it fixed so it stays on while plugged in and only half of the lights on. Couldn’t get the twinkling feature fixed because that would require replacing a certain mechanism that Tom recommended I could find at the goodwill if I come across a gadget with twinkling lights. Maybe I’ll come across it one day and will ask Tom to replace it for me. He was generous with his charge for the service and his time. Very understanding of my weird request and worked with me and the constraints of the situation with patience. I highly recommend Tom for your electronics repair needs. I am able to use my tree light again and it looks beautiful.
I highly recommend Tom for any appliance repair needs! I was struggling to fix my Samsung stove’s broiler and had traced the issue back to the PCB board, suspecting a bad relay. Tom confirmed my diagnosis and expertly replaced the relay, saving me a significant amount—about a quarter of the cost of a new board. His skill and attention to detail, especially with appliance repair, soldering, and 3D printing, were impressive. Thanks to Tom, my stove is back up and running perfectly. I got in a brand new Cold Saw from Italy and wired it according to the instructions. I got power to the drive but nothing was turning when I het the switch, no coolant and no blade turning. I searched Google for Electronic Control system repairs in my area and Tom was at the top of the list. I explained the problem and that I couldn't take it to him due to the size and weight of the equipment. He came over and started to test the switch connections on both ends and found they were just barely touching from the manufacturer. He re connected it appropriately and tested the connections again and said it's all good now. It turned right on and I couldn't be happier.
Tom was so accommodating repairing a circuit board for my washing machine that was malfunctioning. I prefer to have appliances repaired rather than replaced and am able to do most of my own repairs but soldering electronics isn’t my forte. Tom responded on a Sunday afternoon and even gave me some advice over the phone for additional troubleshooting. His rates were very reasonable and my washer is up and running. So pleased I found someone locally who has the skills and knowledge to provide this service. Thank you so much Tom.
Tom helped me out with some micro soldering on a game board. I’d bought the wrong triggers but Tom was the man with the plan and he made it happen. Tom is incredibly knowledgeable in what he does and has the background to support it. I had a blast talking with him while he was completing the job, and it couldn’t have turned out better. I will be sending anyone with similar issues or appliance issues to Tom for quick, fair priced, and most of all, quality work.
