Went in for a cut and simple black dye. They were nice enough to take us last minute. The lady cut my hair way too short and didnt want to dye my hair black, she chose some other brown color. She didn’t even tell me the price until after I was sat for the dye. The price was way over my budget, so I left immediately after getting the terrible cut styled. Next time please just be upfront about pricing and stick to what clients went in for. 🙏🏼
I do not recommend this salon. I went for just a simple haircut to just trim my tips and get long layers since I had been growing out my hair for over a year now and they messed up my hair. The person who cut my hair left me practically bald. My hair is so thin as it is and they went ahead and reduced the width of it as well. I was so devastated because this person could not follow simple instructions and just chopped off most of my hair. Never again!
My cousin was getting married in Laredo and we needed a hair salon to do both of our hair for the wedding. We both live out of town so the appointment was made well over a month before the wedding for both of us. We got there early about 10 min before our appointment to be ready and talk through what we wanted. But our stylist was over 10 min late and had another appointment waiting for her. She then told us that she'd take us after her other appointment so as we waited (already frustrated) we started looking for other places. But unfortunately that was quite a big ask given that it was so last minute. As we were waiting and discussing outside, she then came back to us to tell us she could take us now. But I wanted my cousin(the bride) to go first. She was on a call so I told the lady my cousin would go after she finished her call. To which I received attitude and was asked if she even knew what she wanted. Then when they did start on my cousin, another stylist there did her hair. Not the lady that was late that we had been waiting on and communicating with . So now the lady we were communicating with started cutting hair for 3 boys that were walk-ins. When my cousin asked who was going to do my hair, the lady told her that her hair was almost done so the guy working on her would do mine as well. Needless to say, our appointments were not honored, our hair was done but was not what we asked for(I got sprayed and slicked down with the aerosol hairspray when I wanted a natural look)and the customer service was atrocious. I'm giving 1 star because the guy that did our hair was nice and accommodating. But I'd rather give 0 stars. It was not his fault he got "voluntold" to work on us. But the experience we had was disgusting and I would never return to this place or recommend it. They are out to make a quick buck and do not care about creating or keeping clientele. Nor do they care about your time. Save your money and yourself a headache and just go elsewhere.
I did some searching around on Google for a woman's haircut, and found the price to be fair here at $25. I have very long curly hair, and just got my tips trimmed, as I like my hair long. As soon as I walked into this salon I was greeted by the nice lady at the front desk, but then the hair stylist named Jan Carlos just barged in and told me to take a seat. I rolled with it and I honestly should have just walked out after that.. The vibe he was giving off was horrible, unprofessional, he rudely told me to walk over to another room to wash my hair, which he sloppingly did. When he asked me how I wanted to style my hair, (only trim) he was rude enough to judge my choice, said why do I want it so long. At this point I really wanted to leave but my hair was all wet. He trimmed my hair really fast, and when he was done he very roughly scrunched my hair and let me go. He did not attempt to converse with me like most stylists do. I felt so ashamed to be there. I was just judged and treated like a ragdoll. I will never come back here again and do not reccomend Jan Carlos at all. The other stylists seem gentle and caring, so try at your own risk. Jan Carlos, please learn some respect and treat your customers better.
