Finding Empower Pilates and Lourdes as an instructor was an answer to my prayers! I’ve been practicing Pilates for 25 years and I’ve always been searching for a place where I can learn to use the various pieces of equipment. I had never found a place in Albuquerque with the high degree of professionalism and the variety of the equipment that this Pilates studio offers. I really admire Lourdes’ knowledge and longtime career. She is an amazing instructor that has the teaching experience and creativeness to adapt the variety of exercises to meet individual needs.
Lourdes has helped me immensely to improve my balance and core strength. I have participated in competitive sports over my lifetime and I was a little skeptical about the value of Pilates but have become an ardent believer in the power of core strength. Lourdes is experienced in many areas of physical fitness and can tailor your sessions to your specific needs.
I used to do Pilates 10 years ago, however due to two Family members sad progression with Dementia, then Alzheimers & eventually passing away, I was knee deep in these Family members healthcare. I was very fortunate to find Empower Pilates! Thus began my wonderful journey in remembering what it's like to take care of myself! Lourdes has been extremely instrumental in assisting me with this journey! She is patient, kind and a lady that is "generous of heart" which says so much of the person she is! She's definitely in the right career. Her studio is impeccably clean and each class is just so much fun! So if you're looking to join Pilates, this is the place you should be!

Lourdes is incredibly patient, supportive, and encouraging, creating a welcoming environment for beginners and experienced clients alike. Modifications are always offered when needed, and progress is monitored carefully, which makes it easy to feel confident and motivated. I have been to many pilates studios with membership options and cancellations nightmare where you are just a number. At Empower you only pay for classes you actually take, no memberships, no hassles. I love this studio! 6 Reformers only so you get individualized instruction. Every class is different and challenging so it never gets boring. And Lourdes is the best Instructor and so incredibly knowledgeable. Great pricing too!
