I recently visited Eve's Waterfront to celebrate my 40th birthday with friends and family, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. From the start, the service was subpar. Our waitress was disengaged and had a noticeable attitude, forgetting multiple items from our orders and responding poorly to basic questions about dietary needs. The food itself was underwhelming. I ordered a steak and eggs, and the steak was well-done instead of medium-well, with burnt pieces that made it inedible. Others in my party found their French toast to be thin and overly sticky with caramelized sugar, lacking the proper texture. Additionally, the food took over an hour to arrive, even though the restaurant was not busy. When we asked for the check, the waitress mixed up who requested it and tried to add extra gratuity incorrectly. Even after speaking with management, it was clear they didn't take our concerns seriously. Overall, it was an overwhelming and disappointing experience, especially for a birthday celebration. I would not recommend this restaurant!
Eve's Waterfront is an amazing venue with beautiful views, great staff, and delicious food and cocktails. My association met there for a buffet lunch, working meeting, and cocktail hour with passed appetizers. Everything was done smoothly, on budget and on time. Eve was super easy to work with and made the whole process simple and friendly. As soon as you walk in to the restaurant, you are greeted by friendly and professional staff and also beautiful views of the water, sailboats, and the Oakland/Alameda shorelines. Considering the quality of the staff, the venue, and the food, Eve's was also a bargain. I can't recommend Eve's highly enough and would happily hold more events there in the future.
Decided to try Eve's for brunch heard they had recently reopened. The hostess was very helpful in finding a window seat. The menu was very limited, what I ordered was the vegan bowl after ordering the waiter returned and told us it was not available that was disappointing. Then when our meals were delivered 2 avocado toast plates one was to be over easy on the eggs the eggs were over cooked. Which the waiter noticed after my girlfriend kept poking the egg. It was returned to the kitchen, second time it came back properly prepared. It was our waiters first day we could tell he was trying his best unfortunately it was apparent not all of the staff are well prepared. There were few customers, the food once prepared correctly was tasty. If they're going to compete with the surrounding restaurants they'll have to make major improvements. Noticed to furniture is odd the place has a rustic feel and the furnishings don't blend in. Sorry Eve's Waterfront your needing to do a whole lot of improvements to build this into a successful business.
Eve’s is the Right VIBE 4 Brunch!! These Fennel maple glazed Ribs!?! The Best, tender, full of flavor. Also try the Crème Brûlée FT… toasted to perfection! Love the Waitress (JO.. Annaaaa) this place takes care of you!!
We had our 25 yr high school reunion here. It was a lovely set up and all the staff was amazing. The food was yummy. I only had the vegetarian options so to be fair I asked others about the rest of the menu and they all said it was good! The scenery is gorgeous and it's a wonderful event space ✨️ the staff went above and beyond to make our night special and it was just that. We were able to have a photo booth and have a live show playing on all the televisions in the restaurant. Our DJ was great and it really was a whole vibe. The restrooms were clean and tidy ❤️ beautiful venue. I want to check them out on another occasion.
