I was helped tremendously by O. Pena to not worry about connecting with my counselor as I am not tech savvy. O. Pena PSR went through the link instructions twice. I want to encourage upper management to give her a raise. She deserves it . She calmed me way down. I'm 77 years old & feel intimidated whenever I have to deal with technology. Lauren Romero is my new counselor. She was an excellent listener and very compassionate. She had to ask me probing and very personal questions. She was gentle and responsive when I didn't want to talk about a painful memory. I really appreciate that she respected my boundaries. She deserves a raise as well!
This place is so welcoming and I felt so comfortable there. The staff were super sweet and created a safe space for me to be myself and to express myself as the provider listened to me. Then as I came to a stopping point finally, she then gave her feedback. I like the fact that I can see the Psychiatrist and also have a counseling appointment on the same day back to back which is very convenient. I’m having a good feeling that I am going to like this place compared to integral care. I pray things work out!
Is it weird that I actually enjoyed my visits here? I was referred here by a GP and I couldn't be happier about it. The staff is SO nice and helpful, really made me feel wanted, not just like a customer. And Kait is such a badass! 10/10 recommend her and Family Care Center for any and all mental health and wellness needs. Seriously, if you've got concerns, they'll take care of you.
Dr Lippe is an excellent psychiatrist. He allows me to make the decision about my treatment but he provides guidance and feedback to assist in the treatment decisions. I also feel like Dr Lippe would be forthright if he felt I was making a decision that was not in my best interest. I have had a few billing issues however the administrative staff has been very helpful in resolving all issues. I highly recommend Family Care Counseling Center!
When I first started therapy here, I was in a really rough spot and didn’t know what to expect. From day one, the entire team made me feel seen, heard, and safe - from the front desk to the clinical team. My therapist has also been amazing. She patient, understanding, and somehow always know how to ask the right questions that help me see things differently, helping me to have a healthier mindset. I also did TMS therapy here, and it has made a huge impact. The TMS staff are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met — they took the time to explain everything, checked in constantly, and made me feel completely comfortable. I wish I could keep going just to see them again haha. If you’re struggling or even just thinking about getting help, please reach out to them. I was hesitant at first, but I'm glad I made that leap of faith and I don't regret going. Every single person I've met since going has been wonderful.
