I had a very disappointing experience at Fast Fix. They did warn me there was a possibility my ring could break or lose shape, and I told them I trusted their judgment. Within seconds of attempting the repair, they broke it. What I don’t understand is why they didn’t take their own experience and profession into account and simply decline the repair if it was that likely to fail. As a mechanic myself, I know what I will and won’t break. And if I advise a customer to do something and it breaks because of my actions, I take responsibility for it. They did polish the ring and it looks nice, but that’s about the only positive I can point to. Instead, they wanted to charge me $70 to fix the damage they caused, then recommended adding a shank for over $200, with the ring not ready until the next day. That’s not accountability, that’s passing the cost onto the customer. Overall, poor judgment, poor handling of the situation, and a really frustrating experience. I won’t be coming back.
I came in to have my watch repaired after a pin fell out, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. They fixed the issue quickly and professionally. A couple of days later the same pin fell out again, so I returned to the store expecting it might be a hassle. Instead, they immediately took care of it, replaced the pin, and fixed everything free of charge with no questions asked. The level of service was outstanding and truly exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly polite, kind, and welcoming, and they made the whole process easy and stress free. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing watch repair or service.
I brought in an ancient Skagen watch for battery replacement. That service cost about US$20 and took about 25 minutes. The watch back was reattached perfectly (even spacing between the back and the case all around). There were no scratches on either the back or the case. I’m very satisfied with this repair, and recommend the Fast Fix in Northpark Mall for simple watch repairs.
These people were amazing from start to finish. I knew exactly what to expect after they gave me a detailed run down of the process. They tested all my stones and showed me they were real on their diamond tester. They explained the 14KT gold stamp may get polished off or cut off to upsise the ring, but it didnt. They uploaded photos of the ring at drop off. They said give them 2 hours they will text when completed. I think it was only 45 min so thank you. Its so shiny and sparkling.
This business is one of a kind! They are very friendly and down to earth people who go above and beyond to satisfy whatever requests that you may have. I am so thankful that we have entrusted them to repair our jewelry as the results have been totally amazing. The gentleman who actually does the work on the jewelry is genuinely concerned to know that the customer is 100% satisfied. We will continue to be customers and will refer all of our family members and friends. Thank you so much for your wonderful customer service and the care for the customer that you show. Steve is definitely a highly skilled craftsman and artist in his field.
