I recently found myself in a bit of a time crunch, needing a new suit for my son's wedding—with only a week to make it happen. A friend of mine, Blake, recommended I reach out to Sam at Fine Stitch, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I called, Sam was incredibly kind, professional, and understanding of my situation. He had me come in that same day, took my measurements, and walked me through my options. Within just a few minutes of meeting him, I knew I was in good hands. In just a few days, Sam and his team delivered a perfectly tailored custom suit that fit like a dream. I couldn’t have been happier with the result, especially on such short notice. HORRIBLE experience. My MIL booked a consultation for my wedding dress alterations and somehow they didn't book accordingly. Janet helped me into my dress and started pinning some stuff. I asked her to pin the underboob area and she just ran her fingers over it to "flatten" it out. She started pinning the bottom for hemming which was odd to me since the top of the dress should be altered before even looking at the hem... I looked down and noticed she snagged my dress! Front and center right on the top layer, I pointed it out and she scrunched her face and tried to smooth it over and just moved on like it didn't happen!? At this point all the red flags were glaring me in the face and I kindly asked "this is just a consultation, right?" And she scoffed and said "no, you're booked with me to tailor your dress." I let her know " I'm so sorry there must have been a misunderstanding this was just supposed to be a consultation." Then she proceeded to basically tell me I was wasting her time. I just wanted to get out of there as fast as I could. I feel awful after this experience. I left in tears with a snagged dress, I don't feel like she listened to me or tried to accommodate my requests. I would NEVER trust this place with any piece of clothing, let alone my wedding dress. I am so devastated and honestly livid. Don't go here
Janet from Fine Stitch was amazing! I needed wedding dress alterations done and was recommended to them by a bridal boutique. I initially came in with one dress, but fell in love with another one so I called in and she was able to get me in for another fitting with no problems and started to get working on my new dress. My dress had straps and I really wanted it to be strapless. Janet did that and made the dress fit like a glove for the wedding day! There were a couple small alterations that needed to be done during my final fitting and she worked on those swiftly. She made sure my dress was absolutely perfect before letting me walk out the door. I highly recommend them!
Debido a una serie de hechos desafortunados, terminé con un vestido de novia de talla 10 que necesitaba ser alterado a una talla 0, con menos de dos semanas para que estuviera listo antes de mi boda. Janet fue tan dulce y amable, y aunque salí de la tienda hecha un manojo de nervios al entrar, ella me tranquilizó. Lo tuvo listo en 8 días y, milagrosamente, el vestido me quedó perfecto. Sentí que el precio era alto, pero debido a las restricciones de tiempo, no tenía tiempo para comparar precios. Sinceramente, eso no habría hecho ninguna diferencia. Es una hacedora de milagros y, lo que hizo, y cómo me hizo sentir bajo ese tipo de presión, eso no tiene precio.
