Great coaches!!! Feedback from my kid: " they helped me persevere and very so nice, they fixed my blisters and helped me try again!" In particular, Ezra went out of his way to support my kid to learn new techniques, to think in different ways about the obstacles and to persevere. Ezra demonstrated wonderful and thoughtful encouragement, and all of the staff we encountered were wonderful, we will be back back... thank you all for a great night!
My son started the ninja classes a couple years ago and hasn't stopped other than when he had a broken arm. Even then we had to hold him back! The second my daughter was old enough to follow her brother, she joined as well and we have been coming since! The staff are amazing and have always been willing to work with us on scheduling issues or summer breaks etc. Definitely recommend for a "Parents night out" as well! Take advantage of some much needed adult alone time and leave the kids here!! They have a blast and are so tired by the time they are done, bedtime is a breeze lmao
We hosted our 6yo daughter's birthday here and, firstly, I have to specifically thank the coaches, Calum, Ashton, and Alexa, as they were encouraging, flexible and in particular Alexa who spent time with the under 5yo kids in the Tricking Room. She was so good that a couple guests afterwards said they wonder if she could be hired outside of the party! Even the most shy of pre-k kids she got laughing and having fun! If you have siblings of participating kids who aren't old enough to be on the course, I'd highly recommend booking the Tricking Room so they have something to do. There is a good size obstacle course with gymnastic equipment, with an instructor, and they would have a blast! I didn't realize it would be this elaborate and turned down the small kids from coming, which is kind of a bummer. Do note, the Tricking Room is an actual giant room/perhaps a storage area otherwise when not used, but it's totally enclosed. And you're welcomed to bring food or drinks, decorate. The big kids get an orientation, try out different sections which are limited to your party only, with their coaches (we had 16 kids and 2 coaches). I thought they would do a full obstacle course but perhaps they are too young (6-7yos). They still had a great time. Coaches were encouraging, flexible, helpful to get cutlery and plates for the party room, took them to wash their hands before snacking/cake time. All in all, perhaps they are on the younger side but they still had a lot of fun!
I'm giving a four star and not a five-star because the bathrooms are always a mess. Toilet paper is typically out, and the floors are gross. Now for the good points: The staff are incredibly nice and good with the kids. There is plenty of parking out front. Fit Set Ninja sends out plenty of emails to keep parents (and ninjas) in the loop on future events and promotions.
I am NOT HAPPY. What they call a “party room” is an open cubical. There’s 3 other “rooms” all of which have to walk through ours (2) to get out to the ninja course area. Having children with birthdays in the winter I have booked many party rooms at many different places all over the city and this is by far the worst. I was never informed of their set up. When you book a room you expect a room. Specially when you pay $362. Pictures of their set up should be posted on the website…parents need to be informed of what they are paying for. Also, don’t bother with the instructor lead…the explaining cuts into way too much of their playtime. You only have a certain amount of free time. 1/2 of that is spent listing to a speech on how to climb.
