This was my first experience with a tailor, but I’m so glad I went to Rachel! I had purchased a canvas trench coat that was a bit too long/bulky for my body, and was worried it would be a harder item to tailor. I ended up emailing first to see if it might be possible, and Rachel was incredibly helpful and responsive through the whole process. She was able to take it in while adjusting the coat length and belt, and I’m so happy with it! The tailoring is so clean, and clearly done with a lot of care. (I also appreciate that Rachel saved the extra fabric for me in case anything is needed for future repairs.) Highly recommend if you need a tailor and don’t know where to start! ☺️
I was a bit nervous taking my dress to get altered since I can get a little precious about my clothes and typically only trust my Mum to alter them for me (haha), but after visiting Rachel on a recommendation I can't speak highly of her enough! She did a wonderful job on the dress I brought in - it looks good as new and now I'll be able to get so much wear out of it :) I'm so over the moon with how it turned out, I'll definitely be seeing Rachel in the future for anything else I need done and I recommend others do too! :)
I love taking my clothes to Rachel because it makes pieces that I love wearable and usable because they hit just right. It makes such a difference in how I feel about and in my clothes! Going there is sweet, I feel cozy and safe in her space, and she always alters my dresses in a way that they fit perfectly- and so I’m actually wearing them because I love them. Do yourself a favor, get your clothes repaired and altered by Rachel. I’m so glad I found her.
My experience with Rachel was wondeful. I had sent two pairs of pants for repair. I was not a fan of the thread color she used on one of them. So she bought new thread to match my pants, and redid the stitch. I’m happy with the result. Great customer service!
