I’ve been getting my eyebrows tweezed since I was 13, and I was worried about finding someone in DC after my move. I’m so glad I found Flami! She does a terrific job with my eyebrows, and she is a warm and fun person to talk to. If you’re considering exploring tweezing/shaping instead of waxing or threading, I highly recommend booking with Flami!
I came in from out of town for a gala. I booked a full glam make up appointment with Flami. She is absolutely amazing. She keeps you looking like you, but the transformation is incredible. She is also very informative during the session, explaining her technique, which is great since I don't know anything about make up. Very friendly, personable and accommodating. The Uber took me to her old location on U Street. She was very sweet and waited for me to get to her correct and new location. I will be seeing her very soon for make up lessons and henna brows. If you have an event to go to and want to truly look your best, don't hesitate to book with Flami!
Update: I originally gave Flami a less than favorable review due to a lapse in follow-through from my first session with her, but I’m revising it because of how thoughtfully she addressed the situation. She reached out to me personally and not only redid my makeup but provided the full product list I originally requested. I really appreciated the effort she put into making things right. She is an incredibly talented makeup artist who always pushes me out of my comfort zone in the best way. Each time I visit, she encourages me to try something new, and the results are always amazing. Her artistry speaks for itself, and I always leave feeling confident and excited to recreate the looks at home. For anyone looking for a makeup artist with incredible skill and creativity who’s also genuinely committed to her clients, choose Flami - you will not be disappointed!
I've been seeing Flami for years and she's helped me get my dream brows! I have very thick, dark brows and I'm very particular, but I trust Flami completely. I highly recommend her for brow shaping, tinting, and lamination, as well as makeup application/lessons (especially if you're a makeup minimalist like me - you will be so happy with her natural but glam looks).
