Gama Filho Martial Arts es una academia de Jiu-Jitsu Brasileño de primer nivel en Miami, que ofrece entrenamiento de clase mundial en un entorno de apoyo y respeto. Dirigida por el Maestro Henrique, la academia ofrece instrucción técnica de alto nivel para todos los niveles, desde principiantes hasta competidores, con un enfoque en defensa personal, disciplina y comunidad. Gama Filho is an outstanding jiu-jitsu gym. I started here as a white belt and immediately felt welcomed by both the coaches and the team. Over time, everyone there truly became like a second family. The environment is safe, supportive, and respectful, while still maintaining an extremely high level of training. It’s a great place to grow, learn, and develop real jiu-jitsu from the ground up.
I’ve been training at this academy for over two years, and I can honestly say it’s the best jiu jitsu academy. From the very beginning, it has truly felt like home. The environment is welcoming, respectful, and supportive. As a woman, I have always felt safe, comfortable, and encouraged to grow on and off the mats. The instructors genuinely care about your progress and make everyone feel included. Training at Gama Filho Martial Arts is a deep dive into the roots of authentic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu right here in Miami. Under the direct guidance of Master Henrique, the academy offers a rare combination of high-level technical instruction and a genuinely warm, family oriented environment. My 6 year old daughter takes classes with Coach Max and absolutely loves it, he is amazing with the kids! The mats here demand respect and discipline, making it the perfect place for both serious competitors looking to sharpen their game and beginners seeking confidence and self-defense skills in a supportive community where the lineage is pure and the training is world-class.
I have been blessed to be able to train at gama filho I’ve been training for 4 years now and will never forget the first day I walked in. I started here day 1 to purple currently and I can tell you this place has changed my life in so many ways, its more than a jui jitsu school it is my home, the techniques are world class, the environment is a family, and professor Henrique is God sent. Clear instructions perfect English, Max who works in the gym as well is amazing with the kids, also a great teacher and makes you feel so welcome.
