Get Shredded Vintage is an absolute gem of Baltimore. Sarah (the owner) possesses a remarkable eye for clothing that makes people shine. I have found some of my favorite items here, and wear them all with confidence: not just because the clothing looks great, but also because I know that the vintage items will stand the test of time. Sarah always takes time to provide feedback and answer questions that I have, and I never feel pressured into buying anything. As a bonus, the new location at Wishbone absolutely rocks. Next time you're in the area, swing by and try on something that might be out of your comfort zone- you could end up with your next favorite garment.
Sara really takes pride in vintage clothes and it shows how often she rotates the selections out.
Wonderful shop with a great selection of accessible vintage clothing. Well stocked from all decades, my favorite the 50s and 60s. More deadstock than an average vintage store for sure. Customer service was fantastic. I first saw Get Shredded at the Baltimore Vintage Expo. The owner remembered me. She also helped me decide between a couple of jackets, even with a busy shop. Offering advice and making sure I had the item I really wanted. So happy with my purchase AND the experience. I will be back for sure.
My 16 year old daughter loves 60 70’s vintage fashion so, we set out to find vintage shops in Maryland. Get Shredded Vintage was our first stop. My daughter was so happy with the selection and the items she found in her size. If that wasn’t enough we got a bonus, we met Sarah. She is an Amazing person. Sarah made the experience wonderful for my daughter and I. My daughter smiled the entire time we were in her store. Can’t wait to go back!!!!
So, my daughter is into vintage and retro and we've been having so much fun checking out places..... until the Shredded Vintage store in Baltimore.... then it became DOUBLE THE FUN! First, let me tell you that this store isn't in the same area as all other stores in the Hampden's main shopping street so you need to be mindful of going there to check it out. Second, it is a small, highly curated selection. They would have other pieces in their Etsy shop so do check that out as well. Third, the lady who is there on weekends is a total gem. I am so bad, I have had many conversations with her but failed to get her name. She is very friendly, patient, and just overall helpful if you had any questions about the pieces (and the decor and what-have-you). I love that this shop feels like the dressing room that you would have if you have space at home - just racks full of vintage and retro goodies - and again, curated. Are they cheap? No. But they are a great selection and some pieces are also handmade! We always get something here - one of the "best buys" was a reversible raincoat (yellow on one side and brown on the other) that is just so classically wonderful. And the pothos plants are amazingly crazy...... trailing all over the fitting rooms :).
