Giant Nerd Books has been my favorite book store for years! They never disappoint. The atmosphere and selection are top notch! *chefs kiss*
I had a great visit to this secret hole in the wall. It is an amazing repository of old knowledge and tales. I found some delightful books to give as gifts for the season, but I intend to come back regularly and rummage the shelves for their little treasure deposits. The staff was witty and helpful with a touch of macrabe humor. I am looking forward to my next visit.
This was the first time going to this store and I'll definitely be back on my next trip! They have a great Horror section with some books I never expected to see in stores. Rare, used and new books. And they buy books from the public too!
If there was a Milo working at every book store, civilization wouldn’t be light-speed-spiraling toward Idiocracy. Milo spent a lot of time offering suggestions for my requests and sharing vast, non-judgmental knowledge. There’s something here for all. Also, their shirts go to 11. I am sad I didn’t get to meet Elvira, top seniority canine, but I love that Giant Nerd has a shop dog. Such a pleasure to visit. Many thanks, Milo!
I've witnesses Giant Nerd Books in the early years when Nate was selling some stuff at the legendary Time Bomb on North Monroe, then when GNB had it's own place until the current location and it is nothing but MAGIC! Where can you find so many wonderful books, magazines, fanzines, art, etc. all under 1 roof?! I have had nothing but JOY finding so many wonderful books and magazines, manga and fanzines here . I have been treated very kindly without judgement unlike another certain local bookstore i quit supporting years ago . You will always find something fantastic here and i do NOT brown nose . I LOVE this place so much! I also thank GNB for supporting my comix/art . Cheers! Gaint Nerd Books RULES!!!!!!!
