Hayden is a truly talented tattoo artist who combines professionalism with a friendly approach. He took my idea and turned it into a beautiful design that I absolutely love. The staff at the Golden Rule Tattoo are wonderful and welcoming. The place is always very clean and comfortable. I can't wait to go back soon once my current tattoo heals for my seventh one. I'm really glad I found such a great place and artist!
John LeRoux from Golden Rule Tattoo is a genius!! By far the best tattoo artist I have ever met! Love his work. The man has mad skills. In the last 2 years, I have gotten 6 large tattoos from him and each one just gets better and better! He has years of experience. Here’s a few pics of what he has done for me…, definitely go see him. You will not regret it!
I got my first tattoo from John L. over ten years ago in Seattle. He did such a great job that I have flown to Arizona several times to continue to get work done. Always professional and very clean.
Please see the photos attached to this review. John at Golden Rule Tattoo really screwed up my tattoo. I had my arm done and the texture, shading, and linework are all wildly inconsistent and there are clear accidents in multiple places across the tattoo. The artist tattooed a red dot in a random place on my arm while I wasn’t paying attention. I thought it was blood or a pimple at first because of the nature of the work, but no. All my tattoos are black and grey tattoos and it is very visually obvious even after having a couple years to heal. I very strongly recommend everyone reconsider having any work done by John or anyone else at this shop due to the gross negligence and unprofessionalism. I paid over $1000 to have this shop ruin my arm. I will have this tattoo removed or reworked.
My son and his fiance got married last week, and they wanted to commemorate the occasion with his and hers wedding tattoos. After doing some research, they decided to go to Golden Rule Tattoo. They are the #1 rated tattoo parlor in Arizona and have been for the last 7 years. My son Lucien is a gifted artist and designed his own matching set of wedding tattoos. We called to make a reservation, and they selected Andrew Raffield as their tattoo artist he was very accommodating and nice and a veteran of 7 years at the Camelback location. He liked their artwork, and he was able to adapt the drawings and was happy to use their design. Lucien and his wife said that it was it was a very enjoyable experience. Andrew made them both feel very comfortable, and at ease, he explained the process thoroughly and educated them on the proper care and how to maintain their new tattoos. Thier artists are trained in safety and bloodborne pathogens and sterilization procedures, and they voluntarily exceed industry standards. They have a couple of locations and are open 7 days a week for 11am to 9pm Monday through Saturday, Sunday from 11am to 7pm. If you are looking for a safe, clean, professional, and enjoyable experience, just visit one of their Valley locations.
